This is the second time I have got a car from driven and wouldn't go anywhere else! Carl and Jeanette were both lovely and helpful. They both made it such an easy and pleasant experience, looked after from start to finish. Great customer service, highly recommended!
I have taken my original review down and re-revised it due to recent events happening which have shown the dealerships true colours . So firstly when I bought my car the process was great , everything happened perfectly and I was happy with the service I received . 24 hours into having my vehicle I realised the drivers door wouldn’t lock , I contacted driven and in short they fixed it , which was great. However as time passes it became clear that the car didn’t have a full and proper service history and some vital items where way overdue , I took this on the chin and it’s cost me around £2400 to get the car where it needs to be the car is a C7 RS6 Btw . So straight away there’s a large cost I’ve paid and accepted . Then month by month this vehicle has been an absolute nightmare, with engine mounts breaking , suspension failing and now recently another suspension issue which in excess has cost £4200 with another fix totalling £1300 with also another predicted cost of a wiring problem being in the thousands. I contacted the finance company about this with the aim on rejecting the vehicle and in short driven absolutely hung me out to dry , didn’t contact me to ask me or assist me in anyway and blatantly gave a statement to the finance company washing their hands with me. Their argument is that I never contacted them to tell them about the other issues but my argument is that I had warranty so why would I? They would just tell me to go to the warranty company anyway. I did however tell them I was having issues on a WhatsApp conversation so they was actually aware something was wrong . I have ALL proof of everything that has broken btw. Their other argument is that I told them I absolutely loved the vehicle, this isn’t wrong BUT this was before it kept breaking and breaking and was in the garage 50% of the time I’ve owned it so the novelty quickly wore thin. I am now sat here with a vehicle with a predicted fix cost of about another 3 grand , driven haven’t offered to help me out in any way in the slightest so I’m getting my own solicitor involved and I’ve written to the financial ombudsman . I personally wouldn’t buy a car from these as it seems apparent they don’t fully check their vehicles before they are sold , advertise them as having full service history when they don’t and they have missed VITAL servicing items on such a high powered vehicle. You just have to look at the other reviews to see there’s some shadiness about them. They don’t care about their customers after the sale so my advice would be to avoid them.
Bought a 14 plate Ford focus on the Friday. Brokedown on the Tuesday. The driven group were excellent at getting this resolved as soon as they could. I had made some bad judgements from some comments on here, which I shouldn't have. They listened, followed rules to rejection to get my money back. Sadly i did have to reject the car. But would consider them in the future as a trustworthy place to purchase.
Honestly a bit of a mixed feeling. I feel I have walked away with a reasonable deal. However at every step of the way I had to have my wits about me to avoid being done out of money. Negotiated a deal from a distance to trade my car in against a car for sale. They claimed to have found an issue on my car which they couldn't show me, only a photo of a code, not the actual code reader screen though which I found a little off. They wanted £500 extra from me for this. Stood my ground and they reluctantly backed down. I could paoint out many petty things with a used car but it's a used car, not brand new and some things are to be expected. Got home and the following day the car they sold me wouldn't start, completely dead battery which had dead cells so they would have been aware it needed replaced. I threatened to return the vehicle and afrersome back and forth they supplied a battery but I had to collect it and fit it myself. They failed to pay the finance settlement o. My trade in on time resulting in an additional payment being taken form my account. It will be refunded, but not the point. Effectively they were holding my car without having paid for it. They gave two different reasons for the delay in payout which suggests at least one was a lie. Sadly I'd say avoid unless you have your wits about you. Also they put an MOT on the car which had warped front discs which I immediately noticed, no mention of this on the test certificate. 2 stars only because I'm actually fairly happy with the car but the experience was among the worst I've had. Edited to add. A trusted garage local to me has found 2 potential safety issues with the brakes that should have failed the MOT that you put on it. I'd like to hear your response to that. As I feel this is a situation that must be reported. Badly scored discs, front would have been at least an advisory and back would have been a certain fail! As would the brake flexi secured with a bit of rag as someone had lost the clip. I've now fixed these as they were dangerous. Whats more alarming as your staff watched me place a child seat into the csr so were willing to endanger my daughter. Also you are incorrect regarding the finance settlement as Close Brothers have refunded the payment and confirmed you should have paid before the next payment came out. Your own staff told me 2 different reasons for the delay. One was simply an error and the other was that incase I brought the car back to you. If you were unhappy with my part ex. I was quite happy to take my car back and leave. Your staff was keen to make the sale. Now I see why though.
From my first visit to driven car sales everything went really smooth from start to finish carl who dealt with me was absolute outstanding nothing was any trouble fantastic customer service. Highly recommend the company to anyone A+++ company.
I popped to Driven last Saturday to look at a Mazda CX3. I met Karl who provided excellent customer experience from the start, very approachable and helpful in all aspects of the sale. I will definitely go back to Driven in the future.
Best place for luxury vehicles
First time purchasing a car from here and certainly won’t be the last, guy called Carl was absolutely spot on couldn’t of asked for anything else, very helpful.
Let me start by saying I NEVER normally leave reviews for anything online. However, this time I felt obliged. After just purchasing our third car in five years from Driven, I felt compelled to leave this one. I'll start by saying they've quality stock, with quality prices, but most importantly for us - quality service. The staff are excellent. Patient not pushy which I resent in other dealerships. Courteous & caring. My wife & I saw a beautiful BMW on their website, my wife & I wanted the beautiful BMW on their website & after a call or two with Jeanette - it was ours. The entire process of purchasing a car with Driven is effortless, it's easy & it just makes you enormously happy to deal with them. Highly recommended.
Jeanette is the perfect lady to be selling you a car! No pressure just good honest help. Twice I’ve used Driven, and I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again. Not only great service when buying your car, but fantastic service thereafter.
