I've recently purchased a Honda Civic from Distinct motors and my experience was fantastic. Having never bought a car on finance I was feeling really anxious about the process, someone called straight away to go through everything that happens, which really put my mind at rest. When I went to collect the car the man asked me to double check everything to ensure I was happy before signing anything. I found the whole experience so easy and everyone was really friendly and helpful. I would definitely use Distinct motors in the future and recommend them to anyone looking to buy a car. Recently purchased a 1 Series BMW from Distinct Motors, the whole process from start to finish was wonderful. There’s no hard/ pushy sales techniques at play, just genuine and friendly service that puts you at ease. We couldn’t have asked for more, all the guys were very helpful and informative through-out which was much appreciated! The car itself drives like a dream and I couldn’t be happier. It was fairly priced and all their cars come with 15 month warranty which really gives you that peace of mind - although I’m confident I won’t need it! We were really impressed overall with the quality of cars that they had in stock. Honestly the service we received was fantastic, I would highly recommend checking them out and I will definitely be going back myself again in future for my next upgrade. Easy pleasant people to deal with. The car seemed honestly described and presented, no problem viewing and no pressure or hassle whilst there. Price was about the market average for an independent, they seem to have all the usual facilities and an interesting selection of stock. they coped fine with me as a customer who knew exactly what he wanted- which isn't always the case with car dealers... the fact it was well prepped for hand-over was a pleasant surprise as the car was pretty clean to start with. I'd happily deal with them again.
Made to feel welcomed from start to finish. Steve from the sales team went out of his way to find the car i was looking for. Fast and smooth handover. Would 100% use this dealership again and would recommend to a friend.
Fab service, everyone was welcoming and made me feel relaxed and at ease. Although I had some problems with my finance people with another company, they were very understanding and kept in touch with me regularly. Other people were interested in the car I wanted, and they made sure they were able to keep the car until I managed to pick it up. I couldn’t fault the service at all I would highly recommend.
This is the first negative review I've ever written. Do not trust this company. Bought a car from them, almost immeadiatley it was making loud noises on braking. When I called them they explained some cars just have noisy brakes. I took it to a garage 9 months on who advised the brake discs were completely corroded to the point it was unfit to drive. They said it was the si gle worst case of corrosion they had EVER seen. We had our 4 year old in that car daily. We use it daily but it did 5000 miles in that 9 months. The garage said with regular use, and the extent of the damage coupled with noise from beginning damage had certainly been ignored by the seller when they sold it to us. Immoral and untrustworthy. Avoid. Edit after response below- 9 months and as I explained, the brakes were noisy immeadiatley and you ignored my concerns when i brought them to you within days. In fact 2 months later it rolled off our drive despite handbrake being on. I explained this to you but you ignored me. Brake pads would wear within 9 month, maybe some damage to brake discs pushing it but the brake discs were COMPLETELY CORRODED by that point despite 2x daily light use. The mechanic kept them to show us and you could barely recognise what it was. A reputable mechanic and your viewpoint appear to be completely at odds. Worrying.
I am not happy with the condition of the vehicle I purchased from Distinct Motors on 12 September 2022. There is a cosmetic crack in the boot area of the vehicle. I was not informed and did not see the issue during the quick visual check. Unfortunately, it will cost £515 for replacement.
