I decided to test drive a Puma, really not intending to buy a car. Elan was so helpful and really listened to me which made me feel at ease and under no pressure. I tried a couple of Pumas as wanted an automatic. I bought the car, as an older person l had a few questions, where's the manuals etc? l don't live in Manchester so l just couldn't pop into the sales room. This was resolved by email, he responded promptly and l just want to thank him for the excellent service he afforded me.
Recently purchased a used vehicle from Evans Halshaw Bury, using my previous car as part exchange and predominately liaised with Matt and Isaac. People in the car sales industry have a perceived reputation. However, both these individuals went above and beyond to dispel that opinion.nnAs a customer all you can ask for is honestly and to be treated fairly, which is something that was lacking from other local dealerships l visited. Staff discussed my trade-in vehicle, both the pros and cons, and offered a very fair price and did the same with the vehicle I purchased. Originally, I was not optimistic that a deal could be done. However, Evans Halshaw always made me feel that they wanted something that could work for both of us and worked really hard to make that happen. I told them I was interested in vehicles at other dealerships and they told me to go away, discuss options with them and request test drives. This is to ensure that I was making the correct decision. Some dealerships make you feel like you can't leave their premises without securing a salennAt no stage did I feel there was aggressive negotiating tactics. As mentioned, just honestly and being treated fairly. Above all, they were really nice people. My partner is looking at changing her vehicle in the future and I have told her that Evans Halshaw should be the first place to visit; even if a car she wants isn't on site as no doubt they would be able to source a vehicle. It will certainly be my first port of call in the future.nn10/10 service and would highly recommend.
Dropped my car off at 0820 for an MOT, 60-90mins max they take. Find out it wasn't even taken into the garage until 1350. Was told at the desk that it's expected the car be with then from drop off until 1700. Never found this anywhere else. Zero communication that my car would be unavailable for most of the working day. Usually good customer service here, room for improvement on this front clearly.
I started having trouble with my car and decided to visit Evans Halshaw bury to see what options they had. I've always had used cars previously but wanted to find out more about leasing / finance options. Cayne was incredibly helpful answering all my questions giving me honest opinions of each choice with zero pressure to continue. As a female I always worry about salesmen / garages however I didn't need to. I felt respected and valued throughout. Cayne guided me through the process of buying a new ford puma perfectly and I couldn't be happier with the car.
I bought my car here last week and had a lovely experience! Dan was great and made the process very easy and comfortable! Dan helped me make decisions that were right for me and was happy to answer any questions. Had a great experience here would recommend!
