Now we know why this is a popular restaurant! The ambiance is impressive and the incense adds to the brilliant atmosphere. It was Sunday morning and we were the first customers to arrive. The staff are caring and attentive especially Max! We can tell the staff are happy to work there. We went for breakfast and tried the vegan breakfast platter and granola! Both amazing!!
Last night I hosted my first singles event at Dishoom and everything was quite frankly superb. Harriet and her team were absolutely amazing and really were attentive of my guests. The planning of the event was seamless and was executed with no issues at all. The food was amazing and all the guests had such a fantastic time. The food was flavoursome and delicious and served all in a timely manner. This is a great restaurant to host private events or just simply dine. I would most certainly recommend a visit.
Such a brilliant restaurant, service's fantastic, food out of this world. Such great taste and good portions sizes. The decor is varibtant and set in old Indian railway station. The Birmingham Dishoom is very spacious and bright. If you want treat your family the places recommended to go to. Also do a breakfast portions, which is also highly recommended. Vegetarian options: Large range of options. Kid-friendliness: Very spacious, so allows kids to have room Dietary restrictions: Can cater for a wide variety of dietary requirements.
First Class. A complicated menu for a first timer, but staff talk you through it. Not your normal English curry house. This has far more exotic flavours and exquisite cuisine. The staff are really friendly and complimentary. Service was as quick as expected, no long delays. The environment was beautiful. Based on an Indian Market. Great selection of drinks. The Stout is worth a try as is their house IPA. A great all round experience. Definitely going back. Thank you to all the front and back of house staff for a great experience. We'll done. First rate.
Dishoom is always super busy whenever we walked past, and has got plenty of reviews! We decided to try it for lunch, booked a table, were served fairly quickly. The atmosphere is quite nice, with lots of vintage trinkets/ products and posters. There is water provided for the table. Our bill was over £140 for 4 of us which is a bit steep. They also add the service charge straight on the bill. The food was ok, not worth the price at all. Some dishes were nice, others not so nice. Would probably not bother going back, it’s over-hyped/ over-rated…
Travel back in time and place India. Thursday 10am for a hearty breakfast. There's spice but not hot spicy. Nicely done omelette and scrambled eggs. Staffs are friendly, service with a smile. Toilet nice too.Food: 5/5
We have been quite a few times London and Birmingham and it never disappoints. The food is fantastic, the atmosphere very welcoming and the service is just spot on. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Went for lunch this time, but if you can, do visit for breakfast. It is amazing. We’ll be
The food here was amazing, so much flavour. The staff were super friendly and attentive, they offered help with the menu and made recommendations, noticed when we needed more water and made it a great experience. Will 100% return. Vegetarian options: Full vegan menu and huge vegetarian selection
We had breakfast here and it was amazing. Twist to the usual and quality ingredients. Friendly, relaxed atmosphere. Naan wraps and omelettes both very good, want to try the full breakfast next time Food: 5/5
