Absolutely a very spacious and comfortable superstore to shop at, successfully got everything I need on my list, completed my list ticking boxes, must bring the lovely recycling bag to leave the store with, otherwise can't carry the groceries I brought to home, had a nice time shopping here, a lot of aisles and various stuff to fulfill my wishes, even extended my searches, spent longer time here than I imagined haha
Excellent experience in store overall. All the staff were super friendly and knowledgeable. We purchased our sons bike there and then, carefully checked over and staff took time to explain to my 3 year old how to use the lights. Thank you!
Editing my review again. I wish I could give it minus stars. I would stay away. Some staff are just worthless here. George the bicycle mechanic is the worst person to deal with, what an absolute job's worth. The man chose not to serve me after I found it a funny coincidence he found a wheel which I ordered that had my name on it and my tire size. George said he needed proof it's mine. It's offending to find this kind of stuff funny, according to him. There was multiple occasions he asked me not to laugh, I honestly thought he was joking. George then follows me when I leave the store, which was intimidating to say the least. I will not be using this shop again. And I'd rather go somewhere else, hopefully somewhere you can laugh. When I have called up George seems to have difficulties understanding my queries too. I think he needs retraining, or they need a better way of dealing with customers. Reece on the other hand, the other bike mechanic, he is a decent lad, helped me understand the issues I was facing, and walked me through certain things. I could actually joke and laugh around him. Sadly though the negatives outweigh the positives. Don't come here if you are easily amused. George will ensure you don't have a good time and will not fulfill your requests. Pathetic. Side note, I think they are breaching GDPR and the Data Protection Act, the computer at the bike stand has a great view for the public to see customers data. George seemed to not care about showing me other customers data. Please stop showing customers our data, such as names, numbers and emails..
Absolutely amazing! The fact that I can find any replacement parts for my bike and have them fitted by a professional is incredible. I'd like to thank George, he's absolutely the best. I learned so much from him in how to maintain my bike in best shape, and his proactive approach to find and then fix the issues I had with my bike, just amazing
My man Rhys proper sorted me out making my bike feel safe after getting hit by a car. Explained what had to be done and what needs doing. Really friendly guy obviously loves what he does and knows his stuff too. Whatever hes getting paid should be more 10/10 service
Bought my first ever ebike today. The adventure to buy a bike started 5 days before and what a dilemma it was, I was looking at pictures and everything was mind boggling. So I thought I'd have a trip to decathlon and check the bikes out and get some advice. Low and behold there is this young lad putting out stock and I go over to ask for advice. He was really helpful and clued up about everything I was asking about. When you go into a place and get a good vibe, and the help somebody gives,, you have to go back. So today I went and bought the bike and some accessories. Rhys you are great at what you do and I'd like to thank you so much for the help you gave me. Well it's time to hit the roads and paths to check my new bike out now .
I want to share my amazing experience after being served by Adam on December 3rd. This guy absolutely made my day. I brought my bike in because there were a lot of things that needed fixing. People at Halfords told me that it'd cost me a lot to fix it and that they'd need 5+ days to have it ready. I ask Adam for advice and this guy is already getting his hands dirty, trying to fix my bike. It only took him less than 15' to repair the things I needed help with, whilst looking after my bike as if it was his own. Honestly, I'll only be visiting Decathlon from now on and he's the reason why. He was super polite and helpful, which made the experience even better! Thank you so much Adam! :
I placed an order online and collected it yesterday afternoon, I walked in and out in two minutes. Stupendous service, the young lady who served me, was very cordial and professional and handed me my order with a smile on her face, which I consider to be really important when dealing with customers. I was in a hurry so I did not have time to walk around inside the store but it looks like a massive place where you can find every single thing you need that is related to outdoors exercise activities. Would you consider opening another store somewhere around Trafford Park and/or at the Trafford Centre? Thank you, Decathlon.
Amazing the staff are so friendly and helpful. Work shop had no appointments but staff gave my bike a quick once over tightening things up making my bike safe for me to ride. Big thank you eastlands Manchester
It’s a great place! Amazing even! I went in there today to get a flat fixed and we were met with a worker his name was Rhys and he was instantly very welcoming and friendly. He fixed the tyre within a few minutes and he helped us with a few other things about the bike we didn’t know about. He really did me a solid and I learned a few things as well! 10/10 experience would recommend to anyone!
