Always liked Debenham's. Nice big shop Some nice products. But like all shops they are been lead down the cheap clothing route (all department stores are). Expensive Brands but still made cheaply. However still my 1st point of call. Just buy wisely.

Very friendly staff on the phone and in store. The prices are a little on the high side for my usual spending, however the quality is very good and I always wait for the sales, at which point the clothing is great value for money. For ladies the sizing seems to be a little bigger than most places. That is a 16 fits someone who is 16/18 but mostly an 18 in other places. There were plenty of floor staff who seemed to all be smiling. The building was very tidy,well lit, and organised (with easy signage.). The escalators were not opposing, so I want to go up 2 floors I don't have to walk half the way round the central area. Small things like this make the experience nicer.

Love this shop. Do most clothes online as they do not stock plus sizes. For everything else I make this my first point of call. From shoes bags to bedding etc

Went in for a fry up, staff were very accommodating and made me a custom fry up instead of the big breakfast set item. Losses a star though as the sausages were a little solid lol, the rest was really nice and as I say the staff were great.

Loads of stuff to browse through, catering to different budgets. I felt like buying the entire store because there were so many that caught the eye. I liked that I could look through items without being bothered or pressured to buy anything.
