Daylesford

About

Our iconic farmshop, cafe, cookery school and spa in the Cotswolds, set in the heart of our award-winning organic farm.

Story

Our iconic farmshop in the Cotswolds takes full advantage of its location; vegetables, fruit and herbs are picked each morning from the market garden and go a few yards into the shop and to our chefs in our award-winning cafe. Next door is our dairy and creamery, our farm kitchens and our organic animals, who roam freely on the surrounding organic pastures. Make sure to also visit the Haybarn Spa, Cookery School and Bamford clothing shop whilst you're here.

Please note: on Friday 15th May 2015 and Saturday 16th May 2015, we will be closed for supper because of the annual Daylesford Summer Festival.

Great farm shop, food/drink all looked wonderful. Cafe had a good menu; staff all recommended the burger, which we had but the bun was dry - disappointing. The chocolate nemesis for pud however was the best thing I have eaten in a while!

What an amazing out of town up-market shopping 'mall' and restaurant. Just when you thought you didn't need to spend money on anything else, this tempts you with everything you hadn't thought you needed! A cross between an organic farmer's market, a restaurant, cafe, garden nursery, and gift shop. Ideal if you cant think of anywhere else to take granny!

Very busy and very expensive. Also you pay an arm and a leg for someone to bring you a coffee and they put a service charge on it. (My pet hate). The car park is full of range rovers and other expensive cars. I may put a higher rating if a could afford anything in here a was not so bothered about being ripped off.

Lovely place to browse and pick up treats but you will need deep pockets for most things here. All stock carefully curated and very desirable but mostly I just pick up some wonderful ideas, so always worth dropping in. Bought a few items this morning, then had a coffee, which was way below what I was expecting. Two flat whites and neither of them tasted of anything much more than warmed milk. As we paid at the till, I mentioned how weak they were but got no particular response and didn’t stop him adding 60p service charge. Disappointing.

Great atmosphere, warm and inviting with open fires and probably the best tasting food I've had in a long time. Every dish we had was delicious. All the ingredients organic and full of flavour. No comparison to other restaurants who don't have the ingredients to work with. Well worth the drive from London.
