Reasonably good service. Clean cars, good drivers and the prices are reasonable. But sometimes there are no taxis on arrival at Darlington station and there is no answer on ‘phone. Can be a long wait if you find yourself at the back of the queue. Frustrating.Service: Limousines
We got off the bus from New Castle provided by LNEA, I went straight to one of the three taxis standby at the station. We had 2 suitcases and we were exhausted by a long journey. I told the driver our address and asked him to wait for my husband, who presented himself 5 seconds later with 2 suitcases but before he saw my husband he angrily shouted at me 'stop reserving the taxi, I would have lost a better job, I am serious!' and no apologies, I remained speechless as I didn't understand what's wrong with my doing. I am now afraid of talking with any of these drivers. I do not want to use them again.
After flying all night and getting three trains from Manchester Airport to Darlington with two kids I was tired n desperate to get home to billingham so jumped in a station taxi rather than wait for a booked one. I used to work in Darlington so know the roads pretty well. He took me on a massive detour from near Morrisons round about through country roads then 10 mins later finally joined A66 just past Morrisons!! I was too tired to argue I would have lost my rag so instead I reported him to the council I got his name and badge no. Needless to say I will wait for a booked taxi from now on. Shame these scam taxis are allowed to rip people off like this. When Uber and Lyft take over in this area it will put a stop to this rubbish.
Very grateful to the Taxi driver who, after leaving my iPad in his car, returned it to me safe and sound. Great service.
There are a few good drivers I use about 3 night maybe 4 a week I work as a key worker and do sleep over shifts so 24-28 hours and you think or great can just grab a taxi from the station you ask if they take card yes they do but you have to spend more then £10 my fair is usually £5.40 and he wanted me to spend £10 on it crazy and was very rude.
Friendly, professional and prompt service. Would highly recommend. Lovely clean car. Neil and Gareth top blokes. Will use again. Thanks guys.
Rang @16:45 to book a taxi for tomorrow morning. The man who answered said he was night shift & that I should ring back tomorrow morning. Unbelievable!!!
The taxi did not turn up. I tried calling to find out what was happening and the land line rang them cut off. I rang a mobile number that had called me to confirm my address and that was switched off. Luckily I managed to get a lift from a neighbour.
