Absolutely shocking customer service. Have booked with them multiple times while having difficulties with my car to take my son to school. Then randomly have an email 15minutes before I'm due to go and collect him that they are cancelling the taxi as I'm out of area. When I point out that they have done the same service previously and the app allows me to book I'm told that they don't run cars on that route. Ridiculous, thank goodness my son goes to such an understanding school as the people I spoke with, including the manager had no concern they were leaving a primary aged child without an adult collecting them on such short notice. Ridiculous
My partner booked a taxi to and from the vet to drop off the body of our pet that passed away today. The first driver was late, so instead of co-ordinating they just call her and berate her and hang up on her. No sympathy or respect, and stuck with them because they’re the only ones in this town. Disgusting, well worth the £6 every time we need to go somewhere that the bus can’t. What a joke.
Not even 1 star! This taxi company accepted my booking in advance with confirmation email and text for a late trip home with my children following a family event. They then cancelled without telling me. When I rang at 10.30pm they said they had no cars and anyway cars wouldn't come to my location as it was too far away. Leaving me stranded with 2 children. Do not use this firm, they are completely unreliable and offer an advance booking service that falsely advertises.
Ordered taxi this afternoon. Received call saying taxi was outside, it wasn't, waited 5 minutes then rang up and was told the driver was a couple of minutes away, waited another 10 minutes then rang again and was told the driver had been and gone as I wasn't there! Absolute load of rubbish. No driver arrived and there was cctv to prove that. Had previous good experiences so it's a shame this happened today.
I don't recommend this company at all. They phoned up me 10 minutes before taxi, and I've booked a taxi a day before, and they requested for payment before journey asking about my card details. They are offering payment at taxi dueing booking. Finally a taxi has been cancelled.
We pre booked for a family event and received a confirmation email. We received a text to say that the taxi was outside, however we were sitting outside and there was no sign of a taxi. We had to make alternative arrangements at the last minute. Don't use this taxi service, avoid at all costs, they are unreliable.
I’m so happy with the service of the driver name Craig on Saturday.I’ve left the house key on the car didn’t even realised until Craig drove back all the way to where he dropped me and passed the key back to me. Feel so grateful that the driver bring the key back to me instead I would be absolutely so panic. Thank you so much Craig , all the best to you .
Disgusting service made 2 children 2 adults walk over half hour in pitch black. Booked over 48hours in advance for pick up at 1.30am nyday. My friend taxi was 40 minutes late and ours a no show even though got a call to say outside. Couldn't complain or ring to speak to a real person. Shocking had to walk over half an hour with my children in pitch black both scared so cheers for that. Shocking company. Won't be using again.
Pretty much turn up on time. Cars are always clean and tidy and the prices are fair. Only problem is their telephone booking is awful. Takes me multiple tries to get it to understand what I’m saying.
the driver was very helpful and was on time, only cost £67 from Darlington to Newcastle airport in the early morning on 28.04.2024, recommended
