Dalston Junction

Large, very spacious station. Always very clean and has a staff member around to help out. Has great links into the city, and a train at least every four or so minutes. Lots of space to store bikes inside and outside as well.

Usual to find early morning performances.. talented acrobats, 90s sing-a-longs, n sexy lxs jotties chilling at the entrance!

There's normally a chaos to end of line stations but this one has a clean reserve. Like it was designed by people genuinely keen to get it right.

Very clean station - well kept. But my goodness, it's so let down by the overground train service and for the zero announcements to tell commuters that trains will be delayed (heading to Highbury & Islington). Morning commutes to work are simply miserable. The train times are simply never accurate during morning rush hour. Display times will say 7mins for example, and then it'll keep jumping up and down (4 to 5 to 4 to 3 to 4 to 5 to 6 to 7). 15mins later the train will decide to show up. For years I've told staff to at least make an announcement to commuters with the accurate times (they have access to this information) but they always shrug their shoulders. Now, whenever I see a hint of a delay with the time jumping, I head straight to them to ask when the train will arrive. I have to remind them that Dalston Kingsland is a 3 minute walk away, meaning commuters have the option to use that when trains are very late. Staff are generally polite.
