I had serious issues with a brand new £1300 Asus laptop I bought from here and had to contact Asus to have it fixed under their manufacturers warranty. They had two unsuccessful attempts and to cut a long story short they basically didn't care. They had my money and that's all they were bothered about.nnI went in to the Tunbridge Wells branch of Currys with the hope of having some help from them. I'll be honest I wasn't expecting much as it was out of their 30 days return period, but it was my last port of call before I was going to go down some form of legal pursuit.nnI was most pleasantly surprised. I went in ready to be turned away, but they listened to me, looked into the details I had on my emails and then decided to help me replace the unit with another brand like-for-like right there and then.nnThis issue had caused me some serious problems with me being able to complete my self-employed work, and by this team helping in this way it helped me more than they can know.nnA big thank you from myself, and a big well done to what I felt were a courteous, patient, professional, friendly, and very helpful and most importantly understanding group of people. I thanked the manager in person but wanted it on record here.nnFor this reason I would shop here again. Thank you!
The staff pretty much ignored us. Every time we spoke to someone, we had to go and find them. No one was interested. We were just passed from pillar to post. The last guy even told me they categorically didn't do the item I was there to buy. I gave up and left. Not impressed.
Had issues here before with returns & staff members.nHowever, I came in today for a new TV and one of the staff members Finn was especially helpful in helping us find the right brand for our price range & offered to help carry the TV out for us. Great service from him!
Not bad but not enough shop floor staff. The man who served me was knowledgeable, served me quickly.nI knew what I wanted because I did research earlier so I asked for product, he brought it to me, I paid and received free bonus.
Customer service has gone down hill. I had to hunt for a member of staff who passed me to someone else. She answered my initial question about delivery cost but did not want to be bothered to pursue a sale with me. I refuse to have to go and find a 3rd member of staff and shouldn’t have to! Simple training should teach staff to show an interest in what a customer is looking for and offer assistance and advice. Sadly the people in store today were only interested in having conversations with each other. Never mind, I will go to Argos instead if you aren’t bothered about selling your appliances .
