Good place for a meeting, which is why I was there. The BMW Car Club of which I am a member meets there on a Sunday once a month for breakfast and a chat. I had a bacon butty (l am a Yorkshireman, so don't call it a bath bun) which went down really well, as did all the food to be had there. Good parking and easy access. Don't miss this North Eastern gem.

Pleasantly surprised by Champs. Its a sports bar but Its not in your face-just silent tvs tuned to sky sports. The food was surprising good. Large portions,  tasty and really reasonably priced- get 20% discount if staying at nearby Premier Inn.

Second time visiting this place. It has a great atmosphere when busy and quiet 😄 tried food on both visits and was delicious. I'd definitely recommend the spice box!

I would have given a 4 but the offers in the menu are very misleading and although not specified are only available on certain days. After challenging staff all I got was a shrug and agreement that it was misleading. Food was very good and prices were fair.
