Really interesting part of our social and economic history. This is a world heritage site which laid the foundation to the modern factory processes with housing built around the industry. As well as visiting the museum to meet Arkwright the mill owner, the guided walk ( tour guide or headphones) around the village is informative with some lovely spots. Tickets last for one year.

Great place to visit for a day even for a weekend! The place has a unique combination of history facts -begging of industrial model maybe and industry revolution. Lovely nature and canal to walk by or to take small boat. Definitely worth the way for a visit !

The mill is a nice place. Some little shops and antique places. Lovely coffee shop with great food.

Lovely walk followed by an excellent cheese scone in the improved restaurant right by the canal. Great fun watching the ducks from upstairs.
