Ashton O'Connor no relation to me from Connells gave a fantastic service recently to manage the sale of my elderly mothers house. She was proactive, constantly chasing others both other professionals and our buyer who was proving difficult and always coming up with solutions when things got difficult. I felt throughout that she gave a fully professional service which exceeded my expectations and left my mother very happy with the outcome. I would happily recommend Ashton for any complex senior role in the future on the back of our experience, and I would definitely want her to manage the sale of my family's properties in the future
I am not very often moved to write reviews for the service I have received from an organisation. Probably like anyone who reads this, I feel I have a right to a reasonable expectation of a good level of service, as a given. It is when the service I have received far exceeds my expectations that I put pen to paper, as it were. The property that we asked Karen Crew and the the team to market, had been in our family for over 50 years and given the circumstances, it was important that we engaged an agent that appreciated the depth of feeling within members of our family, having found ourselves in the regrettable position of having to bring the house to market. I spoke in depth with several agents prior to listing and although Connells were not the cheapest, Karen was the one person we felt assured would handle the situation with sensitivity, whilst representing our very best commercial interests. Without question, as the sale proceeded we could not have been more reassured that this was the right decision. The initial negotiations proved a little problematic and because of various issues, the sale became quite protracted. It is when things are not running entirely smoothly that you need to be able to rely on the Agents to step up and manage the process proactively. Karen and the team did this brilliantly, monitoring and liaising with all agencies within the chain, to keep the sale on track. Without question, Connells were instrumental in steering a very difficult chain to completion. This is what you want your Agents to do for you. It is always very reassuring and refreshing when your Agent calls you to tell you about a problem that they have already anticipated and dealt with before it has even crossed your mind. Karen, Jon, Joe, Ashton and the whole team at the Sutton Coldfield branch conduct themselves in a thoroughly professional manner, whilst being very friendly and very approachable. They are also incredibly nice people to deal with! So in conclusion if you are reading this, dealing with Connells means you have the benefit of national exposure but the feeling of being looked after by a small local business. I have always maintained that you get what you pay for in life and if something is cheap, it is cheap for a reason. If you want excellent service by people who care and have the expertise to deal with complex issues as they arise, if you are looking for the best value service not just the cheapest, if you are looking for an Estate Agent that breaks the mould - take my advice and give the team at Connells a call. It is one of the best decisions we have ever made.
As landlord I have dealt with several Estate Agents and the search never ended until now. Dealing with Hannah and her team made the process smooth and stress free with all of my properties. Always available and responsive, if you're looking for a good service get in touch with her!
Hannah and her team are truly professional and very committed. Hannah is the most efficient estate agent that I have ever encountered. My house is rent out at a good price in less than a month despite the economic downturn. Thank you so much for your help.
I had rented a house by the help of Connells in November 2022. I have to say that Connells staffs have helped us a lot. They are Meg, Hannah, Caitlin and Jack. Cause of their help, I really consider that Connells is a good property agency. Meg is very nice and patient, considering our need and helped us to find a suitable house. She provided several properties for us to choose from. Really good! Thanks her! Hannah helped us to finish the handover and reminded us to activate the App to report problems we were facing to in this period. She is very considerate. Caitlin is a very conscientious person, responding very fast, considering our needs of moving into a new house, and helping us to connect landlord a lot. We really appreciated what she has done. Jack replied our reports on the App very quickly. He contacted us to discuss the problems we were facing to, and also contacted the landlord too. He is a responsible person. Thanks a lot for their help.
Both Hannah and Meg are amazing. After being left in a situation with previous tenants and agent Hannah the manager of Conells came to see me within a couple of hours. She rectified the situation in such a professional and supportive way. Within a few days Meg assisted the viewings and I now have great tenants. Thank you so very much Hannah and Meg. Your great.
Meg and Hannah letting team have been truly helpful. Without too much trouble, they assisted me to rent a really nice house in Sutton Coldfield. They are absolutely fabulous!
Myself and my partner had the absolute pleasure of working with Joseph Perrins from Sutton Coldfield, Connells. From the moment we met him at the first house viewing to the day we got the keys, he supported us through every step. As first time buyers this was important for us, to feel like we had the support we needed; No question was too much, no amount of phone calls or emails were too much. He has a nature about him that is extremely friendly and kind, as well as being a great communicator face to face, over the phone and on email and that’s exactly what we were looking for. 4 months and we had moved in, it was a dream come true still is!! One that wouldn’t have been possible without Joe there every step of the way. Thank you so much for everything Joe!
I've recently rented a property from Connells and from the start they was brilliant. I met Hannah at the property for the viewing she was professional and helpful Meg was my contact at the office she was also professional and quick to respond to my emails and calls and she is brilliant at her job So all in all I had a great experience with Connells
Connells team especially Ashton and Ian is absolutely fabulous. Helped me all the way with my house buying experience. Ashton was particularly wonderful and made sure things went smoothly.
