Sunday roast was good, choice of Beef, ham or turkey or mixed, which I had, we both had the banoffe Sunday which was really good. I'd give the place a go if you're in the area.
Food fantastic if not a bit expensive however I do not go out very often at all, do this may be unfair. The large wine was £7 + the fish and chips were £14.+ but couldn't fault taste, presentation,or portion size. Would I visit again. Oh yes. Thank you everyone for a wonderful experience.
Had our tea here it was really nice, not busy at the time we ate . Good choice of fare , we would eat there again, if we're staying at the camp site down the road.
Excellent food, drink &service.Great value with generous portions. The food we ordered was the fillet steak hanging kebab which was delicious.
Unfortunately, following a very enjoyable meal, we had a very poor experience last week. Opted for the curry which the wife said was not as tasty as the previous time, the chips were burnt and the meats on the mixed roast were dry and tough. Added to that, I personally although it meets the description of veg do not think a few carrots and sugar snap peas does not constitute veg for a roast, and we were also told that we couldn't order an extra Yorkshire pudding as they had been busy - it's batter and 15 mins in an oven to make!!! Needless to say we won't be rushing back - certainly not on a Sunday. maybe the first experience was due to it being early on and the poor experience late in the service.
A quality multi room venue with a large accessible car park. Excellent choice of beers and wines, with a wide, well priced menu. Chicken fajitas and large fish and chips are highly recommended. Very friendly and welcoming, Motor cycle evenings monthly are well worth the visit, all are made welcome.
Spent a few hours here, plenty of drinks on a hot sunny day, never eaten here, but the food looked amazing what I seen coming through..... Dog friendly, huge beer garden, with climbing & swings for the kids, definitely worth a visit
Lovley staff really really well kept ales and food was made fresh to order and was DELICIOUS. Warm and welcoming and loads of room for having a drink or coming here for a dining experience. We'll well recommended. bonus is if your staying at Belmont Hall campsite it's a pleasant walk through two fields to the pub
Stopped off for some lunch after purchasing a car in Northwich. Not local but the Cock @ Budworth caught our eye. Food was good, establishment very nice, only reason I didn't give 5 star is because we were eating outside with no tab so the waitress couldn't take our drink order for just 2 if us.
Just had luch tjere today orded ham egg and chips It was so salty it was un edible also had chilli and rice thay was so dry that was un edible also When mentioned to the bar man he just said sorry Cost of 2 meals 2 soft drinks £28.20 we won't be going there again
