It’s a lovely country pub with good food. I would just say call ahead if you can so you can get a table and they know to expect you for food this is a village pub so don’t expect nice home cooked food on tap - and make sure you put your correct reg plate number on their screen to avoid any parking charges. They seem to be the only complaints from people which could easily be avoided. It’s a lovely pub.
Had lovely meal. BUT I'VE HAD SO MUCH STRESS WITH RECEIVING A FINE AFTER FINE FOR PARKING IN THERE CAR PARK I FILLED IN MY REG ON THERE PARKING SCREEN BUT IT OBVIOUSLY DIDN'T WORK. BEEN IN SEEN THE MANGER THEY TOLD ME THAT IT SORTED AS IT'S NOT ON THERE SYSTEM ANYMORE. FEW WEEKS LATER ANOTHER FINE £160 NOBODY IS INTERESTED IN SORTING IT OUT JUST GETTING PASSED ON TO ANOTHER PERSON... !!
3 of us previously had an enjoyable meal at the Bulls Head, so were looking looking forward to our second visit. On arrival we were given a table facing the front door which was wide open, so it was quite cold. We asked if it could be pulled to, but as people came in and out it was left open. We were given the menu and were told that although turkey was on the menu they didn't have any. The restaurant wasn't particularly busy and there was only one person waiting on the tables. Having decided what we wanted we waited a good while and our order was eventually taken by the man behind the bar. The food was good but the service was really slow and that let it down. Sorry but we won't be returning any time soon.
We didn't book, but they graciously gave us a table upstairs. It's my birthday. After the meals arrived, they completely forgot about us. I had to ring the pub t to ask them
Great village pub with a nice friendly vibe. Good choice of beers. Didn't have anything to eat but the food did look amazing so will return to sample what the menu has to offer.
We booked the upstairs room for a birthday celebration. The buffet was excellent and great value. The staff were extremely helpful and we're a pleasure to deal with.
Lovely pub, dogs are allowed and staff bring water and treats over for them. Good selection of foods and drinks, and really clean. However, the food seems to be frozen and it is not as good as it was before the new management took over. Still come if you want a drink though!
I went to here with my friends for a meal we all had the turkey Sunday roast I would just like to say everything on the plate was lovely put the turkey was brilliant tender and mosit it was great well done to the chef it was great and to the staff they were friendly and service with a smile well done to you to keep up the good work merry Christmas we will be bk again thank you xx
Fondly staff, good food, ambient surroundings, lovely dining area upstairs which can be hired as a room. Well worth a visit, good selection of drinks
