First trip to Glasgow and this pub was a warm welcome to the city. Arriving at the nearby Buchanan Coach Station this establishment was only a hundred yards away. I found the pub a near perfect experience. This pub captures the classic charm of the pub culture of the forgone era. However as a cash-only establishment, ensure to carry enough currency.
What a splendid experience at this bar in Glasgow whilst awaiting my bus! Glaswegian hospitality at its finest. It is a cash-only establishment, so do ensure you carry currency, unlike myself, who found solace in the generosity of the locals who graciously purchased my drinks. This establishment perfectly encapsulates the raw, unfiltered charm of pub culture. I absolutely adored it
Went to Intermezzo on the lead up to Christmas for a drink after being out for lunch with some family members. Decent place to go for a drink. Music wasn’t too loud so we could easily chat and catch up together and be heard. There are stairs to take up to another floor which seemed to be popular by people coming in and going up. Toilets were clean and they had more than one cubical which is always a plus for us ladies.
Had time before an appointment today in so decided to pop in to use the loo. Rude older woman behind the bar “greeted” me with “wit dae ye want?” I answered “oh I’m just using the toilet” she snaps back “eh they’re for customers” little did the rotten woman know I would’ve bought a drink and sat for 30 minutes if it wasn’t for her stinking attitude. I complied and just left but I was really annoyed and will never set foot in that place again

Not a friendly place to be at all. Constantly being stared at mostly by the woman, to be honest it was a bit strange. Then a random man asked to sit next to me but I was waiting on my partner arriving so politely refused as thats the chair she would have been sitting in. The woman behind the bar overheard regardless of the fact I felt uncomfortable with it, she stormed over pulled the chair out and told him to sit down. For a woman to do this to another woman is shocking. Really bad experience giving the fact I was a lone female with a random man sitting next to me which I did not want, I left straight after and didn't tip. Theres a reason the place is dead compared to other places in town. Didn't feel safe at all.

Lack of atmosphere n Midweek. Ask if u took a card. cash only what a surprise. £3.80 for a pint of t. Music in background really poo. Change of bar staff since last time been in. Not sure if I be back. Hate also being stared at. Seriously ffsService: 4/5
