Had a great time and good hospitality. The food could have been more flavoursome, but...
Amazing place tucked away In heart of London's busiest tourist locations. The entrance is pretty small if you don't pay attention, you may miss it entirely. It's not massive and can get quite busy. So try to call ahead and book a table. Once inside it drowns outs the outside noise fairly quickly. This is perfect to chill have some nice wines/ports/sherries and tapas. Its a bit dark inside so I won't recommend any heavy reading. Also leave your laptop in the hotel or in the bag. Enjoy the ambience. The Tapas selection is very flavoursome. Will leave you wanting to more dishes. Don't forget to try the aubergine tempura before you leave.
The restaurant is very dimly lit and makes it difficult to read the menu or even see the food when it arrives. A good selection of wine and port, I'd recommend a tasting selection, the cheapest one had a very good selection. The tapas are varied and interesting, unfortunately the two that I really wanted were off the menu; the alternatives weren't bad though. The staff are approachable and friendly. All in all, an enjoyable evening.
The working staff are so friendly. The taste of food is not special compared to other Spanish restaurants, but the atmosphere inside is good. The downside is that the back of the chair is at a perfect angle of 90 degrees, and it is a wooden chair. It is good to go with a lover, but it is not recommended for people with back pain. You can eat food at the bar. There are also regular chair tables.
Lovely cosy and popular tapas place. I was invited for my birthday so can't comment on price. We had a wonderful meal of small plates of wonderfully flavoured tastes. I especially enjoyed the prawns in chilli and garlic and the crispy pork belly nibbles. The squid ink rice was also divine. I was not convinced by the tendency to smother some dishes in mayonnaise, and the meatballs were underwhelming. The lemon sorbet with white port was astounding also. I enjoyed a gin cocktail also.
The gentleman that served us is very enthusiastic and happy. Food and prices were great too! Loved the white bait and squid ink paella. Very convenient that they serve coffee Right next to Adelphi theater so it’s very handy while waiting for the show.
Lovely cozy atmosphere and good service. The tapas were great and we had a lovely cream sherry. We definitely want to come back and try many more tapas and ports
What a gem in such a touristy part of London! Excellent tapas, good range of drinks, efficient service and atmospheric surroundings. Could not ask for more. We will definitely look forward to coming here again. Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian options Dietary restrictions: Allergens clearly listed
If you want to try sherry, port or both, this is the place. The staff can recommend something to your taste or you can have a tasting flight. Sit at the bar for the full experience.
Brilliant place .. we popped in for some pre theatre food and it was perfect. They were full but the staff were lovely and said we could sit at a table outside which had a heater. The food can quickly and was delicious and fresh. Great price as well. Will definitely be back another time.
I visited here with my friends & my dog a few weeks ago. They are not allowed to have dog inside but outdoor is fine. The staff offered a water bowl for my dog and he was really kind and friendly. The food was amazing and the portion was ok!
