Tapas Brindisa Soho

About

Nestled near Carnaby Street we’ve been a favourite foodie haunt for years. Soho is a cosy spot; our menu features contemporary takes on traditional comfort food from all Spain’s regions.

Story

Nestled near Carnaby Street, we’ve been a favourite foodie haunt for years. We’re inspired by the bustling bodegas synonymous with Spanish cities. Bodegas are intimate, local joints where artisanal beers and wines are served with impeccably sourced food.

Our menu champions craftmanship; celebrating the cured fish, stunning farmhouse cheeses and charcuterie of Spain that sit alongside a sensational selection of tapas and traditional comfort food. Enjoy a vermouth at our kitchen counter bar with a plate of Cantabrian anchovies or take a seat in our conservatory dining room and have a long, languorous lunch.

We’re now open for breakfast. Serving traditional Spanish ‘tostadas’ toasts with an array of traditional toppings with freshly squeezed juice & Monmouth coffee

Overall, everything was very tasty. I didn’t particularly like the Russian salad; it was a bit sour, but I suppose that’s just the recipe, and it’s a matter of personal preference. The octopus was a bit tough. But everything else was excellent.Food: 4/5
Had an amazing meal here, we came in slightly early and they were extremely accommodating. The service was very quick and all the servers were extremely attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable on the dishes. We shared 5 dishes between 2, the jamon croquetas, fried goat cheese, pan con tomate, arroz negra and huevos rotos, all fo which was delicious but the goat cheese definitely stood out.
Tastes of the foods are good. But the portions are small associating with the price. We are only two people, but spent £110+. Recommend the meat tapas, salad portion is too small.Food: 4/5
Good ambience. Very good and authentic Spanish food. Don’t miss the paella marinara Spanish seafood rice - well cooked and delicious. It can be busy and packed during peak hours.Food: 5/5
Located in soho with a lovely decoration. The environment of the restaurant is very nice. Food are all reasonably priced. The pork belly is the best dish out of the 6 i had. The pork is pan fried, with little crispness, and it is slow cook? Its very tender. The sauce also brings extra flavour to the pork belly and the colour, combination of the dish is almost perfect. Black rice is also nice, but slightly watery. Lamb shoulder is a slight disappointment given by the price, it is the most expensive dishes we ordered £18, but given by the portion, taste, it does not match my expectation. Presentation is good, except the lamb shoulder, it just taste like kebab meat with lamb shoulder in it but not shredded meat. Fried baby squid is delicious, perfect snack, and it does feel like fresh? Patatas bravas is crispy, potato is fully of flavour, the sauce is just right. The croquette is freshly fried, very hot, not oily. Overall deserve a second visit and i enjoyed the meal.
Snuck in for a cheeky tapas meal without planning to do so, but it was a very nice experience. 3pm so lunch was well over and only a few people in there. We had soft shell crab, chorizo, bravas, gambas al pil pil and some clams in garlic which all was really tasty. Service was very friendly and quick and the beer was really cold, perfect for us. The bill came to £80 with service however you can eat for half that between two if you don’t choose the more expensive tapas on the menu! Enjoy and you’re welcome!
The fried goat cheese was really delicious. The butter for the bread was infused with herbs, which was very aromatic. Croquetas were very good, so was the seafood paella.Food: 5/5
Fabulous dining place for tapas. It was cozy and service was great! Food is tasty. We spent about £100 for 2 pax, mainly for the platter and Spanish seafood Paella. If you get the seats by the side, there isn’t a place to put your bag and jacket.Food: 5/5
Excellent food. Everything prepared well and full of flavour. The only minor comment would be about the sardines. They were cooked perfectly but didn't have much flavour in themselves. Loved the chocolate mousse dessert. We had a beer or two each and it ended up at almost exactly £50 a head two of us dining, so not the cheapest. Service was prompt and friendly. I would recommend a visit.
Really enjoyed our dinner here for a larger group. They were accommodating at short notice and really friendly. Everything was delicious…the jamon bellota melted in your mouth and the special steak was so so succulent I’m craving it again. Staff were attentive, professional and very efficient. Probably my favourite branchFood: 5/5
