Tapas Brindisa Rupert Street

About

You’ll find us where the buzz of Soho and Chinatown meets the bright lights of Piccadilly and Leicester Square. Our tapas menu is all about cooking on fire, inspired by the Asadors of Northen Spain.

Story

We’re nestled on Rupert Street, where the buzz of Soho and Chinatown meets the bright lights of Piccadilly and Leicester Square. Our menu is all about cooking on fire, inspired by the asadors of Castilian-Leonese.

We champion the stunning meats, fish and vegetables of Spain, particularly the roaming Ibérico pigs from which our cured and fresh pork comes from. Expert ham carving, precision charcoal cooking, artisan cheeses sit alongside a sensational selection of seasonal tapas and picoteos.

So, snuggle into one of our booths and enjoy a pre-theatre dinner, or take a seat at our 360-degree dining counter and watch the theatre of our open kitchen, or sit by the window and watch the world go by over lunch.

¡Te esperamos!

Made our third visit today, this restaurant is very high on the list of places to eat when we're in London. The food is always top notch and the service is of the same high standard. We have had both the suckling pig and the leg of lamb from the Asador and both are worth the slightly longer wait, just order some Tapas and a beer or sherry to keep body and soul together in the meantime. Not the cheapest place to eat, but you get what you pay for, and I think the quality means it is still good value for money here.
The food - from tapa through to succulent lamb, and on to almond cake - makes a visit here such a treat. Good choice of sherry and wine, and excellent coffee. I always ask for a seat at the bar so I can watch the chefs at work.
Visited Tapas Brindisa with a friend for an early birthday celebration and was really pleased overall. The food was lovely, the restaurant was spacious and the cava sangria was delicious. The waiter was knowledgeable about what I could and could not eat from the menu as someone with a gluten intolerance, which is always a bonus. Staff were friendly and attentive but not over the top. Would definitely return!
We have been to the Calçotada, special set menu with traditional Catalan food. Round 10 calçots and a massive plate of meat with baked potatoes and antichoke. 5 stars for this set menu at 35£. A part from that excellent food at the menu a la carte.
Big thank you to Robert and the team for another great experience at Brindisa Rupert Street. Love the atmosphere in here and it's nice to watch the chefs cook in front of you as you sit at the bar - just as you would in Spain. Gracias!
The food was good but definitely overpriced for what it was, the staff was nice and it was a rather cost atmosphere. The sangria was the reason this place only get 4/5 stars and not 5/5. Stick to the wine...
Very nice food. The lamb particularly was delicious. Service was a bit slow.
Food is typical Spanish tapas. Good portions. I took 2 stars because we were a large group and I have an allergy but they brought my food without removing the allergen, hence I had quite the wait while everyone else was enjoying their food. Waiters were nice but kept forgetting things and the Manager seemed offended to be asked to take the order. She did not do it btw. Eventually we got a waiter.
5 star food beautifully cooked and served by very friendly and efficient staff. Had black pudding, quail, and bream and vegetables. They all smiled when I complemented the chefs on the dishes. Excellent wine list. Simple decor. Highly recommend.
Really tasty food. I prefer this branch to the London Bridge branch. Great atmosphere and wasn't too busy when we went on Saturday for lunch. Attentive helpful servers. A little disappointed with the suckling pig portion for £29. But it was very tender and tasty. The grilled octopus leg with potato was so yummy. As was the crispy fish platter. Overall good experience and would definitely return and recommend to friends.
