Extremely good service at very reasonable price. Had fun day out with friends in London using taxi to take all 6 of us to Chelmsford train station and pick up from station in evening. Driver was excellent and very friendly and was there waiting for us all when train arrived. Will definitely use them again.

First time I used this taxi company, and when the driver pulled up he insisted on cash. When I explained I only have a credit card (which I explained over the phone) and I was unable to get any cash out, I was told it was £70 for a 18 minute car journey. When I said that's way to much and started to get out of the car he dropped £65 which was still to much. If you do happen to use this company I would be very cautious about prices. (uber charged me £29 for the same car journey 10 minutes later)

I having nothing but praise for this company. I live on Canvey. I made a frantic call to them at 3am as my 20 year old daughter was stranded and distressed in chelmsford after a night out with 1% charge left on her phone and no idea where she was..every mothers nightmare.. I phoned and spoke to Ian and after finding what road my daughter was at he got to her as quickly as possible and got her safe. He let me know as soon as he had her and she was home safe with me before i knew it. This sittuation could have turned out so differently . I am so greatfull that Ian was helpfull and understanding. Im pretty sure not all cab drivers would have been so keen to put themselves out at such a late hour and especially not for such a long run. Thankyou so much for getting my daughter home safe Ian. I would recommend this company to anyone.

Excellent Reliable Service!!! All my family use Chelmsford Taxis Local Company for work and pleasure. They've rescued my Children (not to mention myself, once or twice) on many occasion late at night from various locations in Essex.
