Hired a van to move home with around Christmas time. They were open and we were able to drop back late that day too. Really helpful, no fuss ,very friendly and the vans were nice, clean and pretty new. Will definitely use Axe Hire again and I would recommend them

Faultless service. Low mileage van in great condition, which was good on fuel and clean when collected - despite being December. Not only that they were the cheapest in Chelmsford. What more could you ask for?!! Would recommend and will be using again.

Hired a van to move house. The process from booking, through to collection and return was excellent. The van was clean and full of fuel (which I think is far more honest/fair than hiring it out on empty so you return with more fuel than you started). Although, this is the first time I have hired and we had no problems to test them with, on the basis of this experience, they are well recommended.
