What an amazing brand. It took me 3 months of bridal trials to finally come to this place. I opted for the non-traditional approach, buying pieces and creating my own dress, and in all honesty I could not have done without Charlie Brear and the very helpful staff members who spent time with me mixing & matching pieces. I opted for 2 skirts from CHB, a 3D flower skirt, and a gold sparkle transparent top skirt.
I absolutely loved my experience at Charlie Brear. Having had a few other bridal appointments elsewhere, this was by far my favourite and where I actually found my dress! Mandi wasn't at all pushy and I loved the way she styled some of the dresses I tried on. I never expected to walk into such a hidden gem as I buzzed on the gates to the studio off Charlotte Street. I would highly recommend anyone booking an appointment at Charlie Brear!
I had a first appointment at Charlie Brear on Saturday 12th of May. I was fortunate enough to be looked after by Becky who provided the most amazing service. Becky was absolutely brilliant at listening to what I wanted, making suggestions about what would look good and wouldn't, helping me keep calm and just generally being a lovely and friendly person to chat to. I absolutely loved the dress that I ended up in - and I think it is most likely that I end up choosing it for my big day. ;. Purchased my wedding dress from Charlie Brear this year and it was a wonderful experience, from the first meeting and try on with their lovely stylist Niamh I felt at ease and fully informed on all the different options. There are many beautiful dresses and additions in the studio and when I was unsure of which style to go for I was welcomed back for a second session where again Niamh was so supportive and helpful. I would recommend Charlie Brear to all brides to be!
Insanely beautiful dresses and an amazing experience. They have the most wonderful team who made every appointment such a joy and helped me the dress of my dreams - particular shout out to Hannah and Mandi, but I'm sure all the girls are fab! Charlie Brear went above and beyond to help me when I was let down at the last minute by the external company I had used to do my alterations. CB exceeded all expectations and I have never experienced customer service like it. Truly amazing. I loved every minute of my experience with Charlie Brear and would recommend them to everyone.
Had such a wonderful experience here, and actually found my dress on first visit which I can't believe. The shop is beautiful and from the moment I arrived the staff made me feel welcome and comfortable which hasn't been the case at other places. The layout makes it really easy to see the beautiful dresses clearly , they have plenty of space and the styles are unique and classic and they have a wonderful variety of looks so I could really get a feel for what I wanted. Would really recommend, thank you Charlie Brear !
Simply the best experience shopping for my wedding dress. Everything you would expect 'that moment' to feel like. The staff were AMAZING we hugged after finding my dress, the atmosphere relaxed and laid-back felt no pressure to buy, unlike a few of the other wedding dress shops I visited, and the dress fit like it was custom designed for me. I've never felt more beautiful in a dress and it oozes quality. I can not wait to spend my wedding day with my Charlie!
Stunning dresses, wonderful staff & very chic studio. I can't recommend Charlie Brear enough, I'd been to quite a few different boutiques to find a wedding dress and this was the best expereince I had in terms of service, space and the quality and style of dresses too. The dresses are beautiful and not traditional princess gowns at all! You can easily create a look that suits your style by adding skirts/sleeves etc if you so wish. The boutique is also beautiful, spacious and very chic. The service was exceptional - I bought my dress from the team at the last minute 3 months before my wedding and Becky from the styling team went beyond all expectations to ensure I had the perfect dress for the day, even allowing me to order a styling addition from the next season which wasn't in store yet.
With all the Covid restrictions it wasn't an easy process shopping for a wedding dress but Charlie Brear made it a lovely experience. Niamh was so helpful and patient despite me being very indecisive. It is such a big decision picking your dress and I never once felt rushed, receiving suggestions for different styling additions to make the dress perfect. Their studio is such a nice space and despite having to work to an incredibly tight turnaround due to the lockdown, they got my dress and veil to me in plenty of time for the wedding. I honestly can't thank Niamh and the team enough for saving the day!
I cannot recommend Charlie Brear highly enough. From start to finish the whole process of finding my wedding dress was brilliant. Niamh really put me at ease and was so friendly and helpful. The dresses and styling additions are stunning. The whole experience was a dream and I cannot wait to wear my dress. Thank you Niamh!
