Have been in store and ordered via their instagram. Staff were very friendly and helpful when in-store, packaged my item beautifully. Ordering via their instagram was very easy, staff sent me photos of the item and further details when requested. Payment was simple. Delivery was £10 I live in the UK so will likely differ if abroad and came very very quickly. Will be shopping here again :
I'm not sure why so many reviews are speaking about rude staff! I didn't get the names of whoever was working there, but they were both absolute angels - especially the man who I had purchased my armour ring off of! I visited for my 17th birthday all the way from Birmingham and it was absolutely worth the drive. Unfortunately I don't know the man's name who I spoke to, but he was extremely sweet and welcoming! I'd love to come here again!<3
Beautiful shop and limited edition jewelry, the female staff was very nice. But the male staff was unfriendly.
Such a beautiful store, unfortunately complete let down in terms of staff service. I came in to make purchase and was excited at the convenience of THE store next to me. The gentleman serving could not care less about any sort of customer experience, stared off into space during the whole selection/purchase process. Which must have taken maybe 5 min, as I already knew what I was looking for. Made me wish I would have just done an online order. The experience of a real life store should be a lasting one, and positive at that as it directly corresponds to the brand itself. Underwhelming :
Terrible staff at kings road! This store has a rich heritage and story, which is fantastic. Unfortunately, the staff are terrible. As a local, I walk past this shop every day, but I prefer to shop at other Vivienne Westwood locations. I wouldn’t recommend visiting this store due to how uncomfortable the staff make you feel. It’s difficult to enjoy the collection or appreciate the store’s historic atmosphere. As an artist deeply inspired by Vivienne Westwood, I was shocked by my experience. On the day I visited, I was dressed casually in a black T-shirt with The Prodigy's logo and loose-fit jeans. The manager, or whoever he was, made me feel incredibly unwelcome, watching me closely and standing behind me the entire time. He told me they don't allow drinks inside, which is understandable, but it felt like he just wanted to criticise me. Later, while I was browsing the jewelry counter, he asked, “Do you even know who Vivienne Westwood is?” in such a rude and condescending way. Excuse me? Not only was his question bizarre and insulting, but he also seemed unaware of Westwood’s connection to The Prodigy. Vivienne Westwood herself admired the band so much that they performed at one of her runway shows. The fact that he didn’t recognize this made it clear he has little understanding of her influences. This incident happened a couple of months ago, and I rarely leave reviews, but every time I walk by that store, I’m reminded of how poorly it’s managed and how rude the staff are. It completely tarnishes what should be an inspiring place.
I’ve ordered multiple times via their instagram and also visited this store. The staff are always lovely, super helpful, and understanding. I’m neurodivergent so I always get nervous shopping but the staff are patient and very helpful without feeling pressured. They always go above and beyond for their clients and do their best to provide you with what you’re after!
Some stores make you feel special, valued and welcome... not World's End though! The historic and legendary womb of the Westwood universe homes unusual, archival and unique pieces that cannot be purchased anywhere else. The price selection is also amazing, as one can find little treasures for less than £100, which is rare for a luxury fashion brand. Now, the staff really could not care less about you, especially the manager. Over my several visits there, I've witnessed assistants eating yogurts while manipulating merchandise, or just chatting away, rolling their eyes. Said manager will endlessly entertain you with tales of her own life and how fabulous it is and straight-up insult your taste. When I told her that my mom used to love their fragrance "Boudoir", her reply was "thank god they stopped it. I HATED that fragrance. Reminds me of my boss uh!". Eff my mom and her terrible taste I guess! I haven't set foot again in the store since then, as the experience itself is too high a price to pay for the clothes, as fantastic as they might be.
Today I was served with warmest smile, best customer service ever at world’s end shop by KALALA He is real asset to the store and stand out from the others !!! - thank you. This is the *only reason*I am giving a *five star* to this store. Some staff here blatantly do not acknowledge you as a regular customer which is a real shame! I have been a regular customer here for over 25 years and love this store.
I bought an orb necklace. The Chinese girl clerk was very kind and cute. I had a very good experience. Thank you.
I originally ordered a pendant from the online store and got an item that was supposed to ship to Canada, it didn't go through but I saw on Reddit that someone suggested contacting this store on Instagram and I went and they were able to find me a better item, the staff I talked is named Lisa and she was very patient with me and my shopping selection, she was friendly and very patient where I'm a indecisive shopperthe worst She was able to sell me a bag and ship it all the way to Canada, perfect solution and it couldn't have gone better. 5/5 shopping experience 5/5 staff friendliness and patience
