Ghastly. There is a permanent, pungent, smell of urine,excreta and sometimes air freshener, in the toilets on the ground floor owing to inadequate ventilation and poor cleansing practices. If one climbs the staircase that is tiled with red tiles in order to visit the sauna suite, just take a moment to look at the accumulation of muck engrained in the corners of each step. Obviously, the cleaner does not clean in the corners and over the years an accumulation of dust and moisture has led to a build up of something resembling sand filled corners. The manager of this place, a well built bloke with beard, has no idea of customer service. He is confrontational when he should be apologetic. He is unable to seek accommodations with customers who will not be fobbed off or intimidated by his brusque, controlling, dictatorial attitude.
This is the worst sauna I have ever been to. The facilities are OK but the staff have a really bad attitude and are incredibly unhelpful. They seem to forget that it is customers who actually pay their wages! Avoid this place like the plague.
Closed from 22 Feb 2016, end of lease, building new hotel.
Really hideous experience. This place won't last long...
