Lovely, quiet, cozy little place. It's in the middle of a little village in the middle of nowhere. Really, really quiet. Room and bathroom very spacious, clean and tidy, bed very comfy. Bar well stocked and owner very friendly. Tap water in rooms undrinkable but plenty of water bottles provided to make drinks with, so this was not a problem. Free continental breakfast provided, cooked full english breakfast is extra. We had to leave early due to illness and are already planning our next trip back there.

We have just had the most lovely relaxing three nights staying at the The Great Danes Inn Beachamwells. We were made very welcome on arrival by Mrs Gransden. Our room slept three and was very spacious airy and light with a big shower room ensuite, we had our small dog with us who was made welcome and even given a treat on arrival. I believe that there are only a couple of rooms that are for visitors with dogs and these are on the ground floor with a garden. Our room was clean, if a little dated and as a personal preference I prefer white cotton sheets. The continental breakfast was anything but, it offered so much more!! All free to help yourself and with the added bonus of poached or scrambled eggs. The cooked breakfast was very well presented and set us up for the day and nothing was too much trouble. The evening meals were all home made and delicious and my husband assured me that the bar was well stocked and the beer very good. We will definitely like to stay there again.

Very quiet Inn. Friendly and welcoming hosts , in a beautiful little village. Within 30 mins to Thetford forest where we attended a concert.
