Brilliant from start to finish. Kids had an absolute ball and breakfast was delicious. I was meant to have 2 adults there but couldn’t at last minute. Had a 4 year old and an 18 month old on my own. nothing was too much trouble for the staff especially Rebecca. Keeping eye on kids while I had breakfast etc. great entertainment excellent food and hard working staff. Thank you
I wish I had noted the name of the people who I spoke to, however, everyone was quick efficient and handled everything I wanted. Five out of five. Would recommend this hotel and restaurant to anyone visiting Livingston. The cost was a bit high but that is my fault because I booked the night before. Room was nice, shower was great. Checking in was straightforward, no issues. Dinner was nice. Breakfast was nice. I'll be staying again in a couple of weeks time.
Room was immaculate and well equipped, if a little snug for a family of four. Staff were very friendly and helpful, it was the first place I think I've ever stayed where every one of them seemed happy to work there. Even though it's situated next to a very busy road, the beer garden at the pub is a very pleasant place to be, with a great playground for the kids. Also great to see that it's dog friendly they even get their own menu.... Ideally located for a short walk to the shopping centre.
Popped in, on spec, for a quick evening meal with my wife. Well looked after by all of the staff that dealt with us. Ellis was our server and was a model of quiet, polite efficiency. Well done. Meal was tasty and decent value.Service: 5/5
Absolutely great service, we had the festive meal the table was set up lovely. Staff very attentive and friendly. Overall hotel and bar fantastic and we will definitely back again, I will also be passing on to friends and family to book here. Thanks for a great stay.
Just had a fantastic carvery, the meat was tender and there was lots of it. Everything was well cooked and piping hot. The staff were really friendly and approachable. Not been for some time, will be back
Excellent restaurant. Menu choices are wide & varied. There are daily menu offers. Food was really good & portions were large. Good atmosphere & very friendly, engaging staff. Our server, Rebecca, was lovely & very friendly, happy & helpful. Will definitely eat here againService: 5/5
I stayed here on 27th Sept 2022. I would of rated it with 4 stars but the house keeping and maintenance let it down. My toilet hadn't been cleaned from the previous guest, light bulbs we blown and the fascia board under the mirror was hanging off. The food and service was good in the attached pub, but i think last orders for food was a bit early at 8pm.
Staff are friendly and helpful. In particular Shawn and Kyle. We have a girls meet up on a Tuesday evening for a cup of tea, and a snack of dessert, breaded mushroom, chips and occasionally one of our friends has a vegetarian carvery. The food is always piping hot and tasty. But it’s definitely the staff helpfulness that has us coming back every Tuesday. The banter we have with the lads is just class.
We booked to stay for 2 nights . I can't fault the staff they were all very welcoming and was nice to see service with a smile you don't see that very often these days. Lovely and clean and the food was amazing. Will definitely recommend to friends and family and will be back next year when we come to do our Xmas shopping hopefully stay a bit longer.
