Very cozy little Bed & Breakfast. 
A hidden little gem.
Staff is very friendly and attentive to your needs. Has it's own restaurant and Scottish Pub "Tack Room" attached. Breakfast is not included and is cooked fresh to order each morning for £8.5 per person. The nightly rate are pretty decent and vary but season. Located at the halfway point between downtown Edinburgh and downtown Glasgow (about a 30 minutes cab ride or you can also take the train for 1/3 of the price).  
The room accommodations are big. They offer both suite room with their own bathroom or rooms with shared bathrooms.
The restaurant food is ok. I do recommend the Haggis Neeps and Tatties which is a Scottish favorite dish. 
They do offer free Wi-Fi.
Check out the Pub opened every night and always lively to catch a football (soccer) match on the big projection screen while washing it down with a Magner's Irish Cider Fruit Fusion of Strawberry & Lime.

I was told that Livingston has a very large shopping mall including shopping outlets with checking out.

Pretty place, nice getaway. I only dropped my dad off but he was quite chuffed with the value and quality.
