Absolutely Gorgeous hotel. Food 1st class (special thanks to their chef Martin). All the staff are so friendly and helpful. Their interior designer definitely deserves praise it's absolutely beautiful throughout. The Nicest hotel we've been to in the UK! Will definitely return if travel this way again.

Hi. Went here 2 years ago and going again next week. Can't wait. I am going with my 4 children, they loved it here last time. Its SO handy to get to the lakes and Kendal itself has lots to offer. Thank you Castle Green. Great friendly staff, always happy to help.

Stopped over for a single night as a mini break with the missus. Had a lovely time. The location is good being near to Kendal town. And if you don’t want to leave the hotel I can recommend the pool and steam room followed by drinks in the bar. The adjoining restaurant serves good food and is reasonably priced. It can get busy. I upgraded to a garden view room which looked out over Kendal and the hotel grounds.

What an amazing place. The staff are very friendly & helpful. Food is good. The view from the room I was in was spectacular. I’ll be going again.

Overnight stay for a works Xmas do. Got a discount on room due to the party being held here, good job as room rates were very pricey. Room itself was right by reception through the door so it was very noisey at night with all the other guests walking past, basic with all the amenities which was good. The bathroom was tiny & the shower - well all I'll say is, if you're of a larger stature then you won't fit in it. I'm not big but not small either & I struggled turning round in it & trying to shave my legs !!! Food was gorgeous & breakfast following morning was just as nice, if not nicer being slightly hungover - drinks over priced tho !!! Never experienced the full facilities available as didn't have the time but overall the building is beautiful just not too keen on having to leave the main building down steep steps to the function room.
