The staff was nice and good came quickly. We ordered take-out. The fish was yummy, it came with a mountain of chips, and the burger was good. Unfortunately their beef and onion pie was nit made in house, but a packaged one. It wasn't good....
So I work nearby at the local train depot. Popped in one day for lunch. Tried the Chicken Burger & Chips and I got to say... It was really really tasty. The chips were some of the best I've had they peel the potatoes fresh and make the chips in nut oil which really adds alot of flavour I got to say. The chicken burger was really good too! Obviously these guys are known for their fish & chips but don't hold back when it comes to the other menu items. If you want a good ol school fish & chippy for lunch or dinner then this is the spot for you :D
Decent portion of fish though fillet was a bit thin not thick as other places. Batter was light and really crispy. Small portion of chips, not very crispy, bit too soft. Only the very small pieces were crispy. It was cooked on the spot, so fresh and hot. Vegetarian options: Limited options Parking: Mainly resident parking so a permit is required. Kid-friendliness: Didn’t see a kids menu, but has smaller portions.
A great little fish and chips shop which is a rarity these days. Comes pretty close to perfect, in an up and coming area again, definitely worth a visit if in the local area. Really great deals on offer, and very helpful staff.Food: 4/5
Good portions and cheap prices! Good value for money and friendly service! My favourite is the classic cod & chips but there are also burgers and pies. Also some tables outside for the good season.
Oh wow! The fish and chips was delicious! We were a big group. The owner made each plate with love and care. Plenty of options even burgers. Definitely worth the wait! Reasonable prices too. Many beverage options.

Probably the worst fish and chip shop that I have ever been to in my life. The chips as you can clearly see from the picture were cold and clearly NOT fresh and the battered sausage tasted like it had been cooked the day before. I will definitely NEVER ever come back here again that’s for certain. My advice is to give this place a miss because your be very disappointed indeed.
