All our fish was fried to order - not just sitting around like in a lot of other places - and it showed with very light and perfectly crispy batter. Chips were also very flavourful and tasty. We ordered one “Small Appetite” and a haddock and chips. The homemade tartare sauce was so so - too mayonnaise like for our taste - but everything else was delicious.
Quick service. I sat down and had the fish and chips. I was super happy with it. It was a little more of a hole in the wall than I was initially planning on looking for for fish and chips, but I’m so glad I stopped in. Highly recommend it if you’re in the area and you need a quick bite.
The best fish and chips in town, big servings, crispy fish, tasty chips and home made sauces. Harry and team catered for us at our business premises and did not disappoint! Not a chip went to waste. Dietary restrictions: As someone that prefers not to eat gluten this was a perfect match for me
Owner of this place is so friendly to everyone, bringing up a really warm and welcoming vibe, not to mention the food is spot on. Fish is fresh and crunchy not too oily, fries is great, taste good even when it’s cold. Though it only serve takeout now but you can always bring your food to the park across the street to have a nice picnic. Would go back and visit if I had the chance.

What a lovely fish and chips shop. The children loved the children’s meals. It was very speedy service and the chips were fresh the sausages were made from chicken. Reasonable sized portions for the little ones. Friendly and pleasant staff. Really popular fish and chips shop to go in this area I saw a lot of customers coming in during my takeaway order. Decent price, will return and will recommend. Kid-friendliness: Really good children’s menu, plenty options to choose from.

I went to Olley's Fish Experience after checking for a gluten-free fish and chip shop in London. The fish and chips was exceptional; It surpassed all of my expectations! The owner, and staff, were so kind and took the time to answer my questions regarding the menu and the history of the shop. I will definitely be going back again soon!
best fish and chips in all of london always and by far. been going here for over a decade now, when i was little they used to give us little paper bags with a few hot chips in that we would gobble up whilst we waited for the fish and chips. cod is always so fluffy and delicious would take anyone here to have fish and chips in the park
I visit frequently and it's consistently 5 stars for me. The food is simply delicious - it's no surprise it's award winning. But they haven't bumped up the prices - still good value for a London chippy! Chips are golden and crispy, calamari, cod and scampi are nicely battered. I would always recommend the homemade tartare sauce - not too piquant and nicely herby for dipping fish or chips in. Service is always good too. Shame they had to close the restaurant a few years ago, but there's Brockwell Park across the road to sit and eat in, if it isn't raining!
