Story

The Broads' multi-award winning Holiday Park & Marina, set in the beautiful surroundings of South Norfolk's Waveney Valley, with stunning south and west facing views across marshes and river. The Park is a wildlife haven, where you can spend hours watching birds, insects and other wildlife from the peace & quiet of your holiday lodge, tent or caravan, or venture further along the river by day cruiser or canoe.

The Park features a family-friendly pub & restaurant, indoor heated swimming pool & café, children's play areas, convenience store, launderette and information centre.

We stayed here for 7 nights in the Ellingham spa, the site is very clean and tidy, the lodge was beautiful and clean and well equipped, the staff and service here was exceptional, we had an issue and after reporting it to reception was dealt with quickly and professionally and a follow up call after. A special thanks to Joe for sorting our hob out! All the water on site is softened water, so if you have a baby and are bottle feeding you will need ready made milk as you can't use the water on Site for formula, nearest supermarket is about 6 miles away in Beccles, although there is a shop on site.

We only popped down to have a picnic and a look at the facilities. We ended up searching their website as it all looks very appealing. Lots of options, good prices and a smashing location. Will update after we stay.

We have just returned from a long weekend camping and couldn't fault this site. The pitches had a perfect view over the marina. The onsite pub served really nice food and the staff in the pub and on reception were so friendly and helpful (even when one family decided they didn't want to pay for their meal and were shockingly rude to staff. Staff handled them really well, not sure I could have kept my cool with such nasty people). You can hire boats there too, which we did, the instructions were excellent and even though we're not 'boaty' people, we thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon on the water. The centre also has a lovely indoor heated pool and Jacuzzi. What more could you wish for! All in all, a spotless site and we will be going back. Thank you Waveney River Centre for an amazing long weekend :)

Really relaxing few days in one of the lodges. Lovely setting. Shop, pub and restaurant all on site. So much wildlife right on the doorstep.

Stayed with my family to celebrate my 40th birthday and had a lovely time. Cabin was lovely and clean, the hot tub was gorgeous! The staff maintained everything exceptionally well. Any issues we had were dealt with quickly, efficiently and politely. Facilities were excellent, shop and pub were good if a little pricey, but no more expensive than you would expect. We would definitely recommend waveney river centre and would visit again!
