The venue is well designed and easy to access to the cars by support of professional sales advisors. However I was expecting that vehicles to be inspected well before presenting them to the customers or providing initial information about imperfections, for example I found out miror of passenger's side was scratched for Ford Kuga, driver's side window glass was with deep and long scratche for Toyota Chr and over painted bonnet of another white color Toyota Chr. To tell you truth that I was happy with service of Mr Arben at the reception.
Surprisingly good. We didn't go with the intention of buying a vehicle, we wanted to go to one place where we could get a feel for a broad range. The layout of the place and variety of cars available was very good. Most cars are under cover so visiting in inclement weather wouldn't be a problem. We looked at 6 cars and found the process to be efficient. The printed details of each car's stats to take away was very helpful. All the staff we interacted with were polite, helpful, professional and friendly. Surprisingly good service for the UK.
DO NOT BUY FROM HERE Travelled 200 miles to view a car that had doctored pictures on their site. Spent £150 on a train journey to find this on arrival. Please look at the pictures. I didn’t take pics of the interior which was just as bad. The car looked like it had been occupied by animals , covered in mud, scratches and interior parts torn to bits. The body work was dreadful, never seen a 4 year old old car with paint literally missing from all over the place. The staff didn’t even have the decency to apologise or appreciate that I had travelled 200 miles to view a falsely advertised car. It’s not a easy place to get to, I noticed a lot of the cars had poor body work , they don’t offer warranties either which tells you that they just take in cars which people don’t want or sell when their are problems with them. Check their reviews on neutral sites, they have more negative reviews than any car dealer in the country.
The cars are very competitively priced but the car buying process is incredibly long! I must start my review by saying how impressed I was with the fantastic service provided by Junior. He was a great salesman - extremely knowledgeable, not pushy, personable and he had a good sense of humour too. Amir in the collection department also gave great customer service. Even if you pay the reservation fee beforehand, you are not part exchanging, or getting finance and there are no issues with the car - you'd still be there for 2-3 hours. This was explained by the salesman to manage our expectations, but I feel this is too long and in hindsight I would rather pay a tad more from somewhere with a quicker turnaround. We had previously bought a car from Cargiant 10 years ago, that time we got finance and part exchanged our old car. This time however, we paid cash and did not part exchange, so I wrongly believed after having chosen the car that we would be in and out in well under 2 hours. The reason I have scored 2 stars was because - after agreeing to buy the car, we were given a collection time. Upon the collection time we were told that it needed a part fitting, which had to be ordered in. We were asked to return in an hour for an update but unfortunately the part had not arrived. So after having spent just over 4 hours there, we had to return another day. In fairness, the service representative did say that we could cancel and get any money back that we'd paid for a reservation etc. It was very frustrating that the fault with the car was not spotted earlier in the process.
Poor in all ways. I been there to buy a car i30 car and I didn't. A lot of problems with the car and after I checked the MOT the car was sold to them after some problems with electric break what was not fix. Car had a flat battery and more. When I asked why never mentioned about this problems on the site the sales person said this is the price with all the problems. I bought in the past but I will not buy again from here.
Bought a bmw 5 series. I had a mix buying experience, the saleperson was slight in hurry & he didn’t told that car Mot test failed due to check engine before one from here. I investigated & it found the light came on due to low gas in tank. I trusted my instincts & went ahead with deal & the car turned out to be fine. The car delivery was neat & clean. I opted for interior supra gurad also which looks worth with light interiors. Overall happy with car, the salespersons are slightly pushy so check throughly before you put deposit.
I recently purchased a BMW 330e which I purchased on a click and collect, I also had the car transported to me via Shipley. I was a sent a full damage report before purchasing the vehicle and no where did it mention or show the damage to the passenger side rear wheel which is pretty much curbed all the way around photos attached. I emailed car giant about this with the photos explaining how this was not shown in the damaged report and what they were going to offer to get the wheel repaired or if they were going to arrange for the wheel to be repaired and they are trying to claim this is fair wear and tear! They since have not replied to my last email about this and don’t seem to think this alloy wheels damage is a problem on a car that cost £23000!
Great variety of cars available and something to suit almost all budgets. Superb range and the service exceptionally good. Within 24 hours you can drive away with your car. Awesome that there is also drive away insurance you can take out to get you home if you’ve not already got insurance in place.
Bought a really great bmw 320d from cargiant. The purchase process is easy, thanks to Hubert, he is an excellent specialist in car sales, he helped me decide on a choice. Also got a fair price for my previous car, which I left as a part exchange. Today, it took me a little less than an hour to pick up the prepared car, resolve issues with documents and payment, and at my request, a set of tires was replaced. This was my first experience buying from a used car dealer, I am very happy that I chose cargiant, I plan to come back here again in the future.
Amir has been exceptional from start to finish of my car purchase today. I simply came for a car viewing and ended up making a purchase in the end, all thanks to him. He is highly professional, extremely knowledgeable, and incredibly pleasant in person. We are extremely satisfied with everything at Car Giant; he is an exceptional ambassador for CG.
