Really good and tasty food! A good selection of traditional and more exquisite dishes with an amazing selection of beers as well. The service was quite good too and it's located right across the road from the Dungeon as well!
Had the most succulent fish here! The portions were big and the food was of a high standard. Good food done well.
Nice haggis, lots of pepper. Staff is very friendly. Premise is big enough, feels genuine and well trodden.
No need to wander far from the train station n airport bus stop, or the Royal Mile for that matter, for a real pub, a proper cask ale and a real bowl of Cullen Skink to start things off. Great food and great service in an authentic traditional pub setting. Edinburgh at its finest!
Fish&chips here are on point And it's huuuge. Nice place, pretty central. Good for lunch.
Just popped in for a drink before going up to the castle. Friendly staff. Clean premises. Great selection of beers to chose from. Will pop in again when I return to Edinburgh.
Best Shaffer's pie and sole ever.
Superb place when it comes to food, staff and interior layout. We came here and tried their haggis and it was great. If you are nearby and love haggis, this is the place for you!
