Had a Sunday lunch with the wife, good stuff, Melted Camembert cheese starter was amazing. Lovely old building too.

Good mains and desserts. Some decent ales on tap. Lovely pub and lovely walks around it to work up your appetite. So much larger than I expected.

Called in quite by accident. Glad we did. Friendly accommodating and they made us feel that they were glad to serve us. We’ll go back again

Nice pint but the barmaid is a bit sour. Not once have I thought this but twice. Puts me off a bit. I think bar staff need to be jolly types and not serve people whilst sporting a face like a slapped arse. I kid you not it is very disconcerting. Both visits we drank up and jogged on.

This is a great pub with friendly staff, amazing food and drink. Very welcome log fire too on a cold day. We'll be back!
