Set in idyllic settings on the edge of the Cotswolds, Hatton Court Hotel is nestled between the quaint village of Painswick and only 3 miles from Gloucester City Centre, providing a perfect location for a rejuvenating retreat or business trip.

Our Cotswolds bedrooms offer fantastic luxury and comfort, ranging from Classic Rooms to Deluxe Four Poster Suites with jacuzzi baths, our newly refurbished Superior Rooms are contemporary with a classical touch, all with jacuzzi baths.

The hotel is locally renowned for its fabulous Marquee, perfect for weddings or private events, our verandas offer fantastic photo opportunities. The Tara Restaurant serves quality locally sourced food with fine dining service.

Hatton Court is one of the very few wedding venues in Gloucester that can offer any couple the flexibity and style of wedding they are looking for. We can cater for small intimate wedding receptions from 10 guests through to large scale banquets.

The hotel is nice looking with a rich history. The rooms are comfortable. It is not perfect, there are a lot of maintenance issues and we experienced some administration problems which might not have been resolved without our own integrity (undercharged). If there is a wedding on during your stay you might have to park in the next village along the road and walk back. We were staying there for a wedding somewhere else and we were very pleased with Hatton Court Hotel's hospitality. The photographs on display inside are wonderful!

Very shabby and most definitely not deserving of its 4 star rating peeling paint in bathroom.Avoid at weekends if there is a wedding expect,absolute drunken chaos. On the plus side comfortable bed and great breakfast but massively overpriced.

Can't believe its only a 4 star. Well deserved 5 in my eyes. Really made me feel at home.

Great weekend. Would have given 5* but for the bar area closed for refurb so everything was a bit squished. Will def return to see how it turns out.

Had a very pleasant stay at the Hatton, the room was clean, fresh and very comfortable. Food was great and served warmly and professionally. The only thing that let it down was the fact that whenever we wanted a drink from the bar we had to ask reception to call someone to serve
