Very nice, light, and clean pub with friendly service and traditional "British" style of decoration (fireplace, wooden tables, comfy bench seats, etc.). Regular live music and even on weekdays sometimes. Definitely worth a visit.

I Have been a few times with family and friends and always have had an excellent meal with great choice of ale. very friendly staff. Will devo recommend it to anyone

My family and I stayed in the Star Inn for one night. It was a very pleasant stay. The room and beds were very clean, tidy and suited all our needs. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. There was an issue with the bar kitchen and they were not serving food. They were apologetic and helped us find alternative arrangements. When I needed advice on local services and taxis they helped quickly and politely. Overall very good and I would recommend to anyone.
