Very good meal last night 18th November with new owners and new chef. Basic pub menu but pie and steak excellent. Fish and chips looked good as well.
No chef, no food, other than pulled pork baps and roast potatoes. Let's hope it gets back on track soon really enjoyed the food on previous visits.Service: 4/5
Good range of beers and food. Obvious Archers links which make it worth a visit straight away. Owners are a lovely bunch. The only thing I disliked personally was the music.
Visited the Bull's Head for the Sunday roast, great service and amazing food. Definitely recommend.
We came here on a Sunday in search of a roast dinner and weren't disappointed. We had a trio of meats which came with roasties, carrot, parsnip, broccoli and on the side cauliflower cheese and sweet red cabbage. It was all fantastic. Beer selection is good and the beer is very well kept, everyone friendly and helpful. Garden or back with plenty for the kids to do. Highly recommended.
Friendly pub. Rooms could do with a spruce up but new landlord was keen to point out that he wants the work done asap
The food is delicious, the chef cooks every food carefully, the staff is very professional
Sorry ...untidy bar area ...waiting to be served not through queue but staff chatting at top bar ...seats all used broken ...Service: 1/5
We booked this place for a surprise 50th birthday dinner. It was a disaster from the time we arrived until we left. The service was a disgrace. To bring one drink at a time to a table of 15 took quite a time. One of the party didn't even get his drink for 40 minutes even though he'd asked several times. We eventually got our main course and ordered desserts. After nearly an hour, the guest of honour had to go to the bar and ask what had happened. The desserts arrived shortly after and some were inedible. Several of the party went in search of staff but no-one was in sight anywhere. Apparently they were attending to a fight outside!! Needless to say, the surprise dinner was ruined. I would not advise anyone to go there
Excellent food and service. Had a Sunday Lunch which was lovely. Good value for money and a lot of food. Will return for sure. Waitresses lovely and chatty: Perfect!!
