Welcome to the Bu’sen (Kyoto Budo Senmon Gakkou) Martial Arts School,the Anglo Japanese & Seiki Juku Association headquarters (Honbu).

Story

Welcome to the Bu’sen (Kyoto Budo Senmon Gakkou) Martial Arts School, formerly the Anglo Japanese & Seiki Juku Association headquarters (Honbu). Founded in 1901 and established in Twickenham for over 25 years.

We are affiliated to the English Karate Federation, the Sekai Butokukwai and the Sports Council Advisory Group for Martial Arts.

All instructors are NVQ/BTEC qualified.

Hygienic place. Clean matts. Very traditional Japanese decor. Teacher Kiran was patient with me. The dojo took the time to discuss my epilepsy and what to do in case of an attack. Nice place to train. I did a trial in both Juitsu and Karate.
Our family has been part of the Busen club for 8 years. It is a wonderful, family run business. The instructors are best in class and fantastic with kids. They offer judo and karate for kids - great for fitness and super for discipline! I would highly recommend locals visiting and trialling via a free trial class.
The focus of the club is collecting your monies, not the results. Joining fee, monthly premiums, cost for gradings and belts - not worth it. My kids has attended Bu'sen for a year, and I have an impression the club that is led by a poor management and a huge lack of dedication is only trying to survive for the sake of income.
My 7 year old loves it and great for the dads to get involved as well with the evening classes. Great teachers and great club spirit.
My son loves coming here, it's a great club!
Great club which caters to adults and kids alike.
The finest and most prestigious martial arts school bar none!
