Have to visit this Brompton Junction flagship store when I am in UK. The salesman are so friendly! Dennis in particular was very helpful in answering my questions, and also get his colleague to assist me with LEJOG inquiries. My first time seeing and touching the G line. It’s a lot bigger than the usual Brompton. But it will be a better bike for those who love gravel cycling. Hope to catch up with you guys again. Thank you.
Flagship shop of Brompton with a service station in the basement. Almost a full range of Bikes with different colour and type to chose from. A, C, P and Ti were all available here. Including the Paris Olympic model was also up on display. Staff are friendly, helped to answer my questions and show the various bikes off to me and explained the difference. Being an experience owner with 3 Brompton, it was nice to see the passion in the staff attitude. Only downside would be the limited accessories on sale in the shop. Otherwise, anything to do with the main Brompton brand, they have it.
Amazing experience. Allieu was super helpful and the service team was prompt and competent in putting my new bike together quickly. I really appreciate the friendly service and will visit this store whene6im.in London. Best withed to Allieu and the Covent Garden Brompton Team. World class professionals
Bought a bike from here thinking that if there's one place to buy a Brompton from, it's here. Took it to my new local authorised dealer for its first service which btw Brompton don't offer for free I discovered, unlike most bike shops including my local authorised Brompton dealers. The mechanic was appalled. There were so many things which hadn't been checked over before giving it to me. Many parts were loose and not initially set up properly in store. We're talking about some basic stuff which they should be ashamed of for not doing at the "flagship" store. Some quite dangerous stuff actually - loose wheel nuts, brakes not set up properly etc. The local dealer said that they as an authorised dealer would probably loose their accreditation with Brompton if they let a bike out like that. So my advice is to buy the bike from a local authorised dealer instead of here and if you do buy from here make a fuss about ensuring its set up correctly beforehand - though I don't know how you can ensure that happens!
The staff are really good, me and my friend went for a test ride of Brompton bike and he explained to us thoroughly and was able to answer our questions.
I was experiencing difficulty exchanging the rear derailleur cable on my very old Brompton and the online chat help were flummoxed as my Brompton is so old. They suggested taking it in to Brompton Junction to get some advice. The engineer, Simon went completely out of his way to solve the problem which was a bit of a mystery and spent a good 30 mins, not only fixing the problem I’d brought to him, but also identified a few others which he duly fixed. Thank you so much Simon. You worked so hard and so quickly. Problem seems to be solved now.
I have owned Bromptons for around 7 years, i upgraded to the T Line about 2 years ago. I done the service about 6 months ago at the store. I have always felt they are the most genuine with the advice and service. This week I started experiencing an issue when cycling in 4th gear, the gear would stutter for some reason, I assumed it was just a tune up that the gears needed and didn’t really think much of as in other gears there was no issue. I don’t really change the gears and always have it in 4th. So it was becoming annoying cycling. I had to come Central London today and decided to cycle all the way to Brompton Junction from Baker Street to hopefully get the gears serviced. It’s not always easy getting some kind of service without booking an appointment at Brompton Junction but I deciding to go anyway. Thankfully they were not busy and Richard took out the time to look into my issue. A brilliant brilliant technician, very well mannered and they took pride in resolving my issue. Explained what the issue was and it wasn’t a gear issue!! I am so thankful for their help. I noticed the different Richard made to my Brompton straightaway. It was by chance I came to Central London and then deciding to visit Brompton Junction. Always a wonderful team when coming to branch. Thank you so much Richard for the help provided today Sometimes I’m very critical when I receive a bad service…..but today I have to give credit where it’s due. 10/10 customer service 10/10 professionalism 10/10 passion working for Brompton 10/10 pride in their work show my Richard Thank you
Popped in for a quick bit of advice / repair and had the pleasure of meeting Alex one of the mechanics downstairs…. Alex is an absolute gentleman, not only quickly repaired my drama, he noticed another issue and fixed it up super quick, gave me advice and got me back on the road most importantly safely. He’s an asset to the store and a pleasure to deal with. Went above and beyond. Thank you Alex!
I have bought a bike and a helmet from this store, which I used to cycle home right after the purchase. The staff was lovely and accommodating. They show you how to fold/unfold the bike many times extremely patient and even gave tips on what additional accessories to purchase highly informative. I was told that I was going to be given a discount c.£40. However, when I got to the till, I was told that they were unable to provide the discount. I continued with the purchase anyway. Also, please be advised that this store does NOT accept returns of any helmets even when undamaged: I called 2 days after the date of purchase to confirm this information. If you need to have a dynamo fit into your bike, you have to call to book an appointment first because the parts might take months to arrive in the store. Also, the people in store give different quotes on the dynamo fitting ranging from £200 to £300+, so it might be a good idea to get an email confirmation of the quote. After calling, I was initially advised to come into the store and was surprised that they are not able to fit the dynamo into my bike right away, which was inconvenient as I had other plans that day.
Just wanted to say a massive thank you to Tiago apologies if I mispelt your name! Top service, brought my bike in today almost closing time and was still happy to help me out as I lost a screw and went above and beyond to give advice, tighten and respray my chain! Really appreciate it, will definitely come back to do the service soon
