 A great location, all year round.
Decent quality woodland car park, with various walks leading off in all directions.
On popular days though, the car park soon fills up.
Parking is reasonable, I think it was £3 for a couple of hours minimal charge, & the parking ticket machine takes coins or you can pay my phone. 
The phone signal reception is poor there though!
There are public loos and a couple hundred yards towards the viewing area there is a small outdoor cafe selling hot drinks & snacks.
The view across the plains of the Wye Valley are fantastic & the information about its formation make them even better.
You can walk down a steep woodland trail to Symonds Yat, but be warned it's a tough one, & then you've got to get back up!

Great place to visit from the carpark walk to the view point after drive down to the bottom and next to the river is the Public house, great food, and again lovely walks 
perfect place to walk dogs,   take a scenic boat ride, or visit the Island in the middle of the river
