Had Donner and chips, My Pal had fish and chips, I'm very happy. It was cheap as chips no pun intended , super fast service, and amazing food at great prices. Although we did order from the lunchtime menu. Parking: There is plenty of space in the area to park. Wheelchair accessibility: Yes
Work surface in the backroom was contaminated with food crumbs, someone's dirty rucksack on top of the surface. While waiting for the chips to cook someone was scraping black/ dark brown and grease from the chip holder then wiping it with paper before putting it back so he could put the chips in it. Didn't wash his hands before serving the chips.
Used to really rate this place but after yesterday rubbish. Ordered online, 45 minutes before I wanted my order. Not ready when I went as the system was playing up. Then they seemed more interested in looking at the system!! Finally got my food after having to leave my mushy peas as my server kept stopping to talk to other customers instead of getting on with mine. Food was also rubbish, soggy batter on my fish. Won't be going again. Ordered through Foodhub.
My new local chippy. Great fish N chips, excellent kebabs too and huge portions all for a good price and friendly service What's not to like!Food: 5/5
Been waiting for my order for 20 minutes before they started frying it. Lied about it as well Update: the batter is undercooked, even though it has apparently been deep fried for 25 minutes!
What's going on in this place. It's gone down hill. Bad communication Bad food really cold and potion sizes have halfed with bigger prices. I would have give this a Four or Five star not that long ago. And I think one star is generous. Parking: It's got some

One of the best fish and chips in York and they do pizza, kebabs too. Highly recommendedFood: 5/5
This is the second time I have been here and I've never been disappointed. I have only ordered pizza and kebab on both occasions and the food is amazing, the buy one get one free pizza deal is well worth it and they are loaded with your choice of toppings. The kebab, well what can I say, I get the large one and it never fails me, it's massive, it taste fantastic and you can choose what you want with it eg salad etc. I don't normally recommend food joints/takeaways because we all have different tastes but Dhillon's is far the best I've had in a long time and it's value for money, which makes me go back and I will carry on doing so.
Absolutely amazing fish and chips got a medium portion and this was ample for two peopleFood: 5/5
