Visited with friends. Food and service both excellent with friendly staff. Varied menu covering all price ranges. Good facilities for disabled. Well worth a visit.

I arrived late and staff were helpful checking me in. The room was a good size, and the bathroom had a good shower. The mattress could have been better, it felt like a bit of a tired spring mattress, but it did the job for a one night stay. The staff were really pleasant and helpful when checking out, and were flexible when it came to leaving my car there for the day despite checking out. I would happily stay again.

We chose Briars Hall to hold our daughter's wedding reception 17/02/18. I can say without hesitation it was the best decision we made. We cannot praise the staff highly enough. Karen and Billy were outstanding throughout. Briars is a super venue and nothing is too much trouble, every request no matter how big or small was greeted with "No problem. We had all the rooms in the hotel as family were travelling from all parts of the uk and we all wanted to be together. All of the guests have all sent messages saying what a great venue and staff. The Food was outstanding for the wedding and any changes that we suggested at the taster meal were acted upon and looked and tasted fantastic. Billy was superb and made the day run seamlessly. The waiting on staff were professional and organised. They looked after our guests like royalty and i would like to highlight 2 staff members Beth and Liv. I cannot recommend Briars Hall highly enough.

A nice looking hotel. The rooms are standard. A problematic toilet that should have been repaired before guests arriving and poor pillows let it down. Cleaning could be better. Next time I will opt for Premier Inn as it would be better.
