It definitely needs some updating, this hotel, but the staff here are lovely and helpful. The location Of The hotel is great, Just off the M6 but a five minute drive will take you into some gorgeous surroundings, small picturesque villages and unspoiled countryside. There are flashier places undoubtedly, but it's cosy and honest.

Not a very clean place to stay. Room was dirty and toilet never flushed properly. Walls had something splashed up them and couldnt see in the mirror as so dirty. Meal on evening time was nice but breakfast was another thing.....wouldnt stay there again if you paid me.

Rooms lovely and clean .only had one night good meals .No entertainment bus bar prices are OK

Heating terrible room stifling they brought a fan but didn't help. Cold tap was so stiff on shower needed help with it. Rooms not so clean cobwebs on lights. No hot water for bath at night. Staff ok not overly friendly but in all value for what we paid

Basic but very clean. Cooked breakfasts are delicious, plenty of food. Real value for money
