Food is nice. Haven’t had to wait too long for food to arrive. Just wish they had table service. Such an antiquated system of going up and ordering, makes it feel more like a fast food outlet. Also wish that the person taking your order wasn’t the one who then went and made up the drinks order. They always have plenty of staff on duty (which is a good thing) so I don’t see why, if they have to insist on this method, why they can’t have a dedicated person at the till and someone else making up the drink orders. This would alleviate having people standing up to 10 deep at the till waiting to order their food which is extremely frustrating. Besides this rant about the ordering system, I quite like the place. It’s doing great trade, not sure where all these people used to go to eat and drink before hand. Love the decor.

Visited not long after it had opened. Went on a Tuesday, was fairly busy. We were only having drinks. No-one greets you at the door, was unsure if it was table service so went straight to bar. Good service, once at the table we were asked if we wanted more drinks. Didn't eat, but the menu looked good. The place has a really cool, funky vibe. Will Definitely go back

We had to try this new and attractive addition to the Market Place and weren't disappointed. The decor is cosy but bright and welcoming and our food was excellent. Meat eater and vegetarian were both catered for very well. Both dishes arrived quickly and were beautifully cooked. Staff were friendly and efficient, so all good. We'll definitely be back.

This is a 3.75 🌟 review, very nearly a 4. Nice menu, fairly priced - decent offering for kids (pesto was probably star of the show) laid back but friendly and attentive staff culture. Nice decor and atmosphere. Cookery needs refinement. It is half decent home cooking level currently, need to execute with more skill and attention to detail. Buns need grilling, bacon fat needs rendering, avocados need seasoning, sour dough needs colour if warmed etc - simple stuff. Service was surprisingly quick, especially as was almost full .Would have been happy waiting 10 more mins for food that had me desperate to return. Breakfast Club Oxford is my nearest point of reference and they cook far better than I could at home, not with slightly less attention to detail. I hope this is a fair review and that this brand new franchise can be a shining star in the heart of Abingdon with experience and refinement. Hopefully feedback can be taken on board and I genuinely wish the staff there all the best. Thanks for a decent lunch but you won't drag me out of my own kitchen every week until you render your bacon fat!

Very comfortable wonderful concept and will visit again. We had 3 X tapas £9.95 which were very tasty. We were served quickly by Shannon who was very helpful and greeted us with a smile. I look forward to visiting again
