I love the fish and chips here. The prices are the best. The food isn’t greasy like in other places. However, they often run out of fish and chips. And the cutlery is not clean sometimes. That makes the experience a bit worse. Otherwise good food and good prices! I always return there!
You can't really complain about a spoons and this one you definitely can't. Service was quick, staff friendly. The food was great. It's a nice-looking pub. It has a little outside seating area. Toilets are you guessed it they are upstairs but they are very clean and tidy on our visit.
Stopped here for food today and wasn’t expecting much as I often eat at a Wetherspoon’s around the country. I was pleasantly surprised as our breakfast was cooked to perfection, I use to be a chef many years ago before changing professions so compliments to the cook! The staff were polite and friendly, definitely one of the nicest I’ve been.
I truly liked this pub. There's just something about it. Friendly and relaxed. Ok, I've been to loads of spoons around the country, and they are all a nice familiar home from home. But, this spoons has a special vibe. Ticks all the expected spoons boxes with a little Friendly extra
Good food at great price. Good ales on tap. Nice calm atmosphere, good decor. Decent service. Loads of indoor space. Small outdoor space. Overall great experience, highly recommended for groups or just for great value food & drink. Thanks spoons!
