It could be a great day out, but... The place is filthy. The cafe tables were not cleaned once. The staff simply removed plates from tables but didn't remove spillages or mess. Had to clean table ourselves (which you don't normally mind if its just because they are busy, or haven't gotten around to it yet) but no tables had been cleaned, clearly ALL DAY! So everything was sticky. All toilets were really dirty! Filth on the floor, around toilets and some smeared on the walls! No toilet roll. Not great when trying to encourage a toddler to potty train. Also... Pushy sales! We were not impressed with how pushy they were to get photos. It costs enough to get in. Especially with a whole family. It's simply embarrassing and unnecessary to try and force families to buy photos. It's such a shame because it could be a fantastic day out. It seems like the staff are not interested in how good the day is, but simply how much you are willing to spend. Very disappointed.

Good place for a few hours wandering round, picnic and play, would have been there longer in summer as nice splash play area. Lovely to see all the animals and kids liked the treasure hunt. Staff super friendly. Warning the car park is very expensive and you prob only need 3 hours max in winter maybe 4 in summer

Very expensive to buy on the door (£19 for 3-14, £23 for 14+) so make sure you book in advance or have a bogof voucher. Once you get past that though it is a great day out, rain or shine. We have been there twice now in the last year. Loads to see and do with our toddler. We spent about 3 - 4 hours there on both occasions and saw everything. Great play park too for when looking at fish gets too samey for the children too. Would recommend!

Not a great rainy day activity, but that's own own fault! Other than that the animals were brilliant, but the park was generally more for kids. The cafe could have been a lot better as well.

Set out very well so that you always know which way to go next without missing anything. There was work being carried out while we were there however it didnt spoil our visit in the slightest. The staff were very kind and helpful. The play area was lovely and suitable for all ages of children. Only down side was the food and drink was extremely expensive
