Just returned from a long term stay at the hotel, over two weeks. They are beginning to renovate the rooms and we were lucky in getting two of the renovated rooms. The rooms were fantastic with walk in showers and comfortable beds. Only thing I could say about the rooms that I didn’t like was there was no fridge or microwave in the rooms. Coming from North America where such things are common place it was a little luxury lost. The staff were excellent, polite and friendly. I was there with my two elderly parents. During a fire alarm for a real fire the staff were great in getting my mother who has mobility issues down the stairs. It was raining that day and they even provided a jacket for her as well. The staff in the bar were great as well. The hotel contributed to a great stay.
What a fantastic hotel! The staff were amazing, really friendly & helpful. The bed was so comfortable, the best I’ve slept in. And what a great location. Will definitely be back!
Great hotel to stay in, whether to watch the football or to visit surrounding areas - location is ideal for visiting Manchester and the Trafford centre about 30 min drive without being in the hustle and bustle of Manchester itself. Very friendly staff and spacious rooms so great to stay in as a family. Bar area is nice, lots of different tables which are spaced out so it doesn’t feel too crowded. Additional food options available in the retail park! It’s also great that they have the EV car chargers, meaning that we could plug in overnight and then get home without stopping to charge!
Went on a coach tour and stayed here. Rooms lovely. Staff very pleasant. Bar/food service very slow but I think its more a kitchen issue than the serving staff. Lovely hotel though.
Really good location, that is all for this hotel unfortunately. The rooms are extremely dated and dirty, dusty walls and mould. The amenities in the room save it a little kettle, fan, TV, trousers press Felt like I was interrupting a staff party when I checked in and the two ladies on breakfast this morning were the rudest, most obnoxious people ive had the pleasure to deal with. If you don't have a tent available to stay in, I suppose this hotel would do.
