Spent 3 nights there. Very comfortable and very polite staff. Breakfasts were good but when the buffet system isn't operating and orders are taken, be specific in your order. The rooms are comfortable and well maintained by cleaning staff and the bar is a pleasant place to relax. I have stayed several times and would do so again. It may seem remote but taxis are quickly ordered and relatively cheap.

Carpets could be done with getting replaced along with the mini fridge. But bed was clean and tidy and so was the bathroom. Towels changed every day. Breakfast was good. Good enough for the price would go back

Nice food, helpfull staff. Room furniture damaged. Cracked sink. Holes in headboard. Desk wood face bare on wood. Grubby looking room. Needs decorating.

This hotel came to our rescue after sitting on a coach stranded on the M62 for 12 hours . We arrived at 12.45 am to smiles warm rooms and a good breakfast in the morning. All staff were fantastic

You get what you pay for. It was like going back to the 70s. Very outdated and in need of a refurb but was clean and served it's purpose. Upon I had to get out the car to ring the bell to open the barrier as it's on the opposite side of the road. Staff were very friendly, especially the lady in the restaurant, she was lovely. The resturant is buffet style, it's very cheap.. nothing fancy but was nice and a good selection as well as a salad bar.. closes at 8pm. Breakfast was nice, selection of cereal and cooked, tin fruit was a bit disappointing. The room was clean and comfortable.. outdated but not bad.. the heated towel rail is on the wall above the toilet so be careful not to burn your head. Free WiFi and secure but it didn't work.
