2 visits to here, Friday night & Sunday lunch. Both visits we had food and drink, burgers, lasagna & a spicy chicken dish as well as Sunday lunch. All dishes were lovely. Myself and My Family came for the carvery on Easter Sunday. It was delicious, they were so helpful my son has a dairy allergy and nothing was too much trouble. The meat was tender and the roast spuds were delicious!! we would happily travel the 50 minutes from Home for this Sunday lunch!!Service: 5/5
Super friendly staff, lovely food. Really enjoyable visit. We're not from around here, but we're made to feel very welcome. There's a nice beer garden but was too cold to use when we visited.Service: 5/5
We visited today as a family of 4 for the first time and can honestly say it was one of the best carvery meals we have ever had. The food was absoloutly gorgeous, fresh, hot and so tasty with a great selection. The gentleman that welcomed us sorry didn't get your name was so welcoming and helpful. My husband is currently using crutches so he carried his plate for him and plated his meal whilst my husband chose what he wanted from the carvery and brought it to our table for him. We really appreciated your help. Will definitely be back in the future. Thanks so much for a lovely New year's day meal.

What an absolute gem of a pub. Such a warm welcome and amazing food. Dogs were made very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Made to feel like we were friends
We we’re staying at York Marina in our campervan and went in to Naburn to the Blacksmiths Arms for Sunday lunch. We were not disappointed, it was delicious, very friendly staff and very dog friendly, will definitely be going back again when we are next in the area.
Sally is an absolute star. She made my son and our day fantastic. You have a gem in Sally....what a lovely person, service fab and food brilliant. Best pub by far.
Friendly staff and excellent Sunday carvery. Lots of choice, all hot and meats great. Dog friendly with outdoor area. Accessible from the York Greenway.
Great little pub, very friendly, good tasty pub food. Will definitely visit again.
